            The Swan Barn Door is a lovely rustic venue, but after seven years in business, it is still not finished. The guests must enter from a back door since the main entrance is covered by large bolder rocks. The barn is kept chilly. Upon arrival to set up and decorate, it was 64*. Requests to have the heat turned on was met with annoyance from the owner. The space was not ready, the deck was not clean and had full ash trays from the two previous weddings that weekend. The owner/manager is not helpful, is apathetic, difficult to work with and outright rude to the point that other vendors apologize for her behavior. The only caterer allowed is the one owned by the Swan Barn Door. As a wedding designer/coordinator who has been in the service business for almost twenty years, I have never been treated so badly or had so many complaints from guests. The frustrations of lack of help, poor service and less than average quality of the food will keep me from ever recommending this business. The high fees do NOT merit the surprise low quality service given the client. Brides, Beware!
