Was told about what I was paying for and when I arrived it was not as described by far Many health concerns about the unit rented including s**** stains and used condoms in the unit , mice p*** and mold , and they would not cancel or change rentals units and would not cancel reservation due to no refunds , also golf cart equipment rented was broken and they did nothing to resolveBusiness Response

Thank you for sending this information for this guest. He is not allowed entrance to the property for a variety of reasons. The main reasons are stated below. As you can see there were multiple contacts with this guest and all of them were with the intent to harass the property. The guest spoke with myself, the owner originally and told me that he could only afford $700 for his whole stay. I was able to adjust pricing for him to accommodate his request due to the lower occupancy during his stay. When he arrived, he added a golf cart rental for an additional charge beyond the $700. He then made any lies about his stay so he could scam the property and stay for free. Upon arrival he signed a terms and conditions that he agreed all sales are final and no refunds. See attached. During his stay we were informed that he is under arrest for obscene phone harassments, which is the precise thing that happened when he called multiple times. He will not be refunded as he stayed at the property, used the golf cart which was working during his stay. There was no instance when **************** requested unit to be cleaned or items that were not working in the property they were not immediately attended to. We will be reporting this to the proper authorities to let them handle this matter as it is a active police investigation.

Additionally, he commented he found condoms on his rental unit but when he came to the office on July 18th, he never mentioned this and even refused to have cleaning go over the unit or be moved to a different one.

Guest called this morning claiming he was still waiting a call back from a manager about a refund. I don't see any manager authorization for a refund and T&C are pretty clear. He said he will be initiating a charge-back process with his credit card company. Also commented that ***** "hustled" him to book.

I highly recommend researching any other option before selecting this location, did not get what I paid for , I had to get a room down the street just to get a good night sleep to ride my motorcycle 6 hours home. Guest came to the office to change his golf cart since the one that he had was dead, he also started complaining about everything under the sun about the lodge, cursing a lot. When I asked if anything was dirty or wrong he just said that this whole place is a dump.

Guest called to the office asking for the specific number site they have for the *** he was told the number and also the detail that it may change since he has no lock site fee. He asked about the red carpet suits and asked if he could be changed to one of those, he was told that he had to pay the difference since it was an upgrade, he said he was not paying for anything, since he requested our best site to the guy that he talked to last night and he thought that he got one.

When I was giving the instructions for the golf cart he interrupted saying he knew what he was doing and preferred just to take it. His wife also wants to be a driver but they were way to impatient to have her sign and take the wristband.

Incredibly impatient, guest was mad he did not get a discount. After saying the rules for the golf cart out loud, he did not want to read and sighed right away, did not wait for the golf cart to be ready and almost left without the key or the wristband, also, he did not want me put the wristband for him and kept It in his hand. I was going to give him cart #** but he requested something that was not as "shitty" as that one since he was paying so much money.

In November of 2022, I booked Heros weekend at Jellystone in ******* ** April *****, 2023. Unfortunately, I had to cancel because of my mother's death in *****. I called their number to cancel timely on 13 April 2023 but left a voice message only due to all agents being busy. No one returned my call on the 13th so I called on the 14th and received the same all agents are busy message. I called back and spoke to ******* who informed me rudely that I would lose my deposit. I informed her of my email cancellation verbiage. She referred me to a supervisor **************** believe her name was who stated she had called and spoke to the ** and all they could do was refund all but $20 because I didn't cancel timely. I did. I forwarded them my email and they refused to refund me the $20 so I filed a complaint on line to Jellystone. 19 ********************************* ** of the ********** location called me to offer his apologies and stated it shouldn't have been difficult and I should've been refunded completely. He offered me a weekend on them. I explained my situation and he requested I call to book with him once I returned to DE. I left him a message on 5/22 and then spoke to him because I called back on 5/23/23. He gave me his email address and asked me to send him some dates. I did on June 16 and June 26th. To date I have not heard back from him even after calling him 3 times between 6/20/23 and 6/30/23. I've left multiple messages and he's not returned my call. I have the email messages with their cancellation policy, my booking request and a history of calls made and received on my cell. The other calls last month were made from work since the only time I spoke with him since returning to DE was when I called him from my work phone as he doesn't answer when I call from my cell.Business Response

Seriously worst place ever. You pay out the a** to have red carpet and be put next to some very inconsiderate people that have made this experience the worst ever! We've complained many times and yet they still don't do anything besides give them a slap on the wrist. What it going to take someone getting bit by their pinball that's running freely. I can't even enjoy a fire cuz they pitched their texts right next to it. Can't go out with my dog without theirs trying to go after mine. Is it due to their ethnicity that they can't enforce their rules? Cuz these people have broken every single rule according to your site. Yet they are still here causing issues. Now we have excessive music, and they built a fire bigger then the fire ring. The manager needs to be fired. Absolutely **** poor. I've stayed at many other jellystones and this one is a **** joke.Business Response

Your experiences and feedback from your stay at our park provide me with the knowledge to correct problems when necessary and also helps us determine improvements needed to be made at our park. Please accept our apologies if your stay was not as expected.
As owner of this property, I am personally disappointed that our facilities & personnel did not meet your expectations. I am now aware of your concerns and speak with my managers and employees daily to resolve problems such as yours so that they might be avoided in the future.
In reviewing your file, it appears you choose the site that you stayed on during your stay. We have no control over the assignment of nationality of others on the site adjacent to you or nearby.
I have already spoken to the managers on duty and they informed me that they went to your site three times and spoke to the guest to resolve each issue as it arose.
Our staff tries very hard to do the very best each and every time and I applaud them for their very long hours under unprecedented & difficult times. For this we are very sad. Our goal was to make sure you enjoyed your stay and apparently we failed and for this we apologize.
Sadly,there is no way to correct the mistakes of the past and for this we profusely apologize. We sincerely hope that you & your family will visit this park again in the future and that all your future stays at our Yogi Bears Jellystone Park *************** will be more enjoyable.
