On 1/18/2024 Ball Toyota applied a WV state safety inspection sticker without checking my brakes. I went to Ball Toyota for a WV Inspection Sticker, tire rotation & multi-point inspection (all of these include checking the brakes) & I specifically asked them to check the brakes because there was a new grinding sound. When I checked out, I asked about the brakes & if I needed new brakes, she said "The sound is from rust or moisture or debris, not the brakes. He said you have at least 1/2 of the brake pads left". A few weeks later I took it to an independent mechanic. My rear brakes, rotor and calipers were destroyed. Ball Toyota charged me for services not performed, damaged my car & my confidence & illegally gave me a WV inspection sticker. This was gross negligence. They know I'm a 10-year customer. I bought my car from Ball Toyota & they purposely put my life in danger. I can't imagine why Toyota would treat me this way. I'm nervous now when driving my car, not feeling safe because these dishonest people have serviced it for the past 10 years. Is this ageism? They lied to my face & let me drive away not caring about my safety or anyone riding in my car.

I bought a Toyota Camry XSE V6 from Ball Toyota in December 2022. After doing all the paper work and paying for the vehicle, I was informed I would only get one key FOB for the vehicle. The car is supposed to come with two key FOBs. The excuse was there is a chip shortage and Toyota was only giving one key per vehicle. Please note that they are withholding my key FOB so they can sell another vehicle to some one else at my expense and inconvenience. I was told I would get the key FOB in April. In April I was told I would get it in late summer ( no definition ). I went to my local Toyota dealer parts department to inquire about buying a key FOB. I was told I could order one and get it in two days. The cost with programming would be $400.00. So I can buy one but ****** *** or Ball Toyota will not give me the one I paid for. Any internet search will show the chip shortage ended in January 2023. Chip manufacturers have laid off employees because they can't give their chips away. I think waiting 8 months for a key FOB is unreasonable and unethical. I want Ball Toyota to buy the FOB from their parts department and send it to me and when I or they get mine from ****** they can keep mine and put it back in their parts inventory. I paid for the key FOB and I have received no compensation for it. Or they can issue me a check for $400.00 and I will buy my own FOB.
