1 starMy residents contacted them about swere backing up through a drain in the basement. The basement is no more than 25 ft wall to wall. They claimed they were able to get 75ft of snake through the line, then proceeded to try and convince my residents they needed to cut the concrete basement floor to replace the pipe even though they were able to get 75ft of snake through the pipes. The residents called me because they had already charged them 4k to come out and run a camera and snake...... And wanted to charge another 2-3k to cut the basement floor out to replace the drain even though they were able to get a snake through it. The residents there know nothing about plumbing so they contacted me because that price didn't seem right. I was away on work so I wasn't able to be there. Anyways, I told them absolutely not, do not let them cut into the floor without being sure that was the issue for that outrageous price. The issue ended up being outside of the home with the city sewer line way out in the back alley. Nowhere near their snake would even reach. Yet these people wanted to take advantage of my elderly tenants. 4k..... To run a snake, and camera. Then told them 3k for an elderly discount if paid with cash. The tenants paid with card, so they upped it to $3400..... Stay clear of this company. I have shown this receipt to 3 plumbers, city sewer officials, and all agreed they just took advantage of my elderly residents. Charged for 12 hours of work, even though they were only actually at the residence for 2.5-3 hours. Apparently they charge when they have to run around and look for tools to rent because they didn't bring them to the job. That's not the tenants problem. That's poor business. 5 starsI.called around several different places for pricing on my French drain, sewer and water line install on my new home. I was very impressed with the price difference with Adkins plumbing. All were at least 400-1,700 price difference higher. It wasn't only the price that impressed me. Mr A***** came right away gave me an estimate and told me approximately right on dot how many hours were involved. He was very much on point. I am very glad I chose Adkins Plumbing for my installs. I will highly recommend those guys to anyone. I would put them up against the best. Because I believe they are the best. I want to publicly thank those guys for a job well done. I recently had the pleasure of working with Adkins Plumbing for some plumbing issues in my home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, my experience was excellent. Adkins Plumbing came out and installed a retaining wall for me. The hill behind my house was slipping. They came out and offered a free estimate in which I accepted. They gave me great price for the amount of work that was needed. I will most definitely be using them again in the future for any of my plumbing or contracting needs. I would recommend this company if you're looking for any type of plumbing or contracting work.Adkins Plumbing, LLC

Adkins plumbing has made my dream come true. i finally got my hot tub installed i have wanted for years. I called Adkins plumbing to install a hot tub. To my surprise it didn't take long for them come install it for me. they had it complete in two days after the initial call. I'm so glad i made the decision to get my tub. id advise anyone to get a hot tub. and I'd advise anyone to have Adkins plumbing to install it for them. The workers were very clean and friendly. and those guys surely knew their business. I'm glad i chose them to be a part of making my dream come true. Thank you Jarred for the good job you guys done for me. And the price was cheaper than i expected it to be as well. May God bless you guys. i wish i would have got this done years ago. this business was contacted to fix a shower leak and drip in the plumbing under the house. "Eddie" came to the house without any type of materials. These are standard supplies - O ring for the shower, "T" for the pipe under the house, and probably glue for the "t". He left to go to local hardware store and of course, had the wrong O ring. Another trip at almost an hour. So 2 trips, 2 hrs for routine plumbing supplies. He charged a 175.00 Travel Fee, 75.00 service fee, 4 hours of labor at 125.00 each hr. He doubled or more than doubled the price of shark-bite tee-3/4" -$35.69, 3/4 inch coupling &20.99, sleeve coupling 3/4 inch $26.75, Kohler set of springs for shower $ 15.96. Price at the hardware store-16.99, 9.99, 9.99, 15.96.(in order as above). Is the service charge not the same as the actuall 4 hours of labor. Other wise what other service. They don't carry supplies so why was I charged 2 hours of labor for that needed to have - no actual work done. So a 1 hr job was quadrupled, inflated , and overcharged.This is fraud - pure rip- off by a contractor.Adkins Plumbing, LLC

As a company we are allowed to mark up our material prices. As for the travel we were coming all the way from Charleston WV. Every job is different therefore, different parts may be needed. As to why the technician did not have the parts needed to fix the issue at the residence.
