    Workers from this insulation company broke the condensation drain and put hole in my ceiling. I want reimbursement for the damage. They are denying this, but I was sitting in living room where and when this occurred

    On August 21,2023 USA Insulation started to apply injection foam into the outside of the house. I walked into the room they had started to, to find the drywall severely cracked below the windows on two walls and immediately went to the men working and advised them to stop. When the estimator was at the house prior to signing contract we advised we did not know if there was insulation in two of the rooms as they were additions to the original home and were done prior to our purchase. Both the estimator and the men on the job assured us that if there was already insulation they would be able to tell and they would stop. If these rooms had insulation the total price agreed upon would be reduced accordingly. Pictures of the damage were sent to the office by the insulators, employees of the company. The company hired *** Handyman Services to do the repairs and they arrived at our house one week after the incident. The *** contractor determined that all the original insulation in the two full walls were wet and compromised and that the drywall was also moistened, and this was an invitation for mold. Both two full walls need new insulation and drywall on the entire full walls. He reported this to his office who contacted USA. The General Manager, ***** ******, advised *** to cease working. *** ****** is now telling me that the only repair that needs to be done is where the drywall was damaged or torn away and not the full wall. As the *** contractor has said unless the drywall on the two full walls are torn out, insulation replaced then mold will ensue.

    Installed 8/22/22 Assured me that wind issue would be resolved, it not they would come out and make it right. There workmanship is poor. They assured me that the best way to resolve wind issue was to seal the attic sofit. I have has more wind and more cold air in my house then ever before. I have had company telling me one thing, and experts in the field telling me another. I have given the company many opportunities to resolve the issue. I encouraged conversation one on one, but get emails stating he will be in touch. Latest one attached. I have had frozen pipes in my attic, 15 feet in my house since company completed work. I have asked the company to make it right. I can't fix my other issues in my house until the insulation issue is resolved. Flooding caused over 15k in damages. I have had two other experts in the house since the company left, and am being told that the work that USA insulation did in the attic is worthless. It is not doing a single thing for me or my energy bill. I am going to have to hire another company to fix it all, and they are going to undo everything this company did. So, paying 8k plus 1800 to fix their work that I already paid 9K for. I am requesting refund for the Attic and basement, as they both will need to be redone. I gave the company plenty of chances to try to make it right, and am at a loss for what I can do at this point. I was willing for them to come in and make it right with no questions asked, but they are asking for more money to complete the job that should have been done in the first place. Please contact if you have any questions, and thanks for your help! To date, I am 1 1/2 weeks out from owners' last response about coming to an understanding on option to move forward for resolution. My wife has a lung condition and we called the company right after install due to odors and burning eyes and throat. Owner stated he would do air test for us, but never followed through. We were told that we have many areas that were sprayed where the mix is not correct, and it needs cleaned up.

    June of 2021 USA insulation came out to give me an estimate on insulation for my attic. We had finished off the attic bathroom shower and wanted to make sure it was insulated correctly. I had them come out and give me an estimate. While here, he talked me into the rest of the house. When they did the job in August 2021, they told me that if I had any issues with wind to give them a call back and they would make it right. As soon as winter came, I started having issues with wind. I called them back, and had appt set up for Jan 2023. In the meantime, I had a frozen pipe in the middle of my house that froze and caused over 15k of damage. I reached out to the company, they came, and we went over the job. They were going to come out and make it right. However, when the company came back out they only did 1/10 of what we agreed upon. My last email to the company was to have them fix it with details of what we agreed upon and what was added. there was a communication problem with the me and company owner. I encouraged him to come see me and discuss, but we haven't made it that far. I did send an email about 1 1/2 weeks ago, and he did state he would be in touch, but still have not heard from him. I am completely disappointed. I have had two experts come in and review the work done, and those experts both claim that the work done is worthless, and did nothing for my heat and wind in the attic. I received an estimate from another company to come fix it, and they would have to undo everything that was done in the attic. I am requesting my money back for the Attic and the basement. I tried to reason with this company owner, but am getting the cold shoulder. I paid over 14K to them, and am having to try to get another company come in and fix the problems. The spray they used was not mixed correct in many areas, and is a hazard. I was assured by them that the chemicals were not hazardous, they promised air quality test, and never provided one.
