      On Sunday, 7 May at approximately noon, I was left stranded at the Maryland Welcome Center on I-** in Friendsville, MD when the truck would not start after stopping in the rest area (123 miles from my home as indicated by the GPS Nav System). The check engine light came on and after repeated attempts to start the truck, it would not start. After calling nearly a dozen companies, I was able to get a tow truck out of Martinsburg to come out and retrieve myself and my family. We arrived home at approximately 7pm when our original ETA was 1:30pm that day. The truck is now at a third-party repair shop and has been diagnosed as the cause of the problem. The shop informed me that the hi-pressure fuel pump has failed and other items will need to be replaced due to metal filings found in the fuel filter. The reason the truck is not currently at Parsons Ford is due to a lack of trust that Parsons is actually working to repair my trucks issues as evidenced by the issue in NY with the fuel line replacement,the dealership in NY noted that the fuel line was not correctly repaired as claimed by the service department at Parsons. I had the new repair shop check all of the parts that Parson’s claimed to have replaced and they indicated to me that the #8 and #6 fuel injector were not changed as claimed in past repair visits to Parsons. There is no physical evidence that they were changed and the computer data to support this claim is that seven (7) of the injectors currently installed are closely numbered, including #6 & #8. The exception is that the #2 injector, which was changed in NY, has a distinctly different series/serial number. This indicates that it is highly unlikely that the injectors “replaced” by Parsons were actually replaced due to being so closely numbered to the remaining factory installed injector numbers. Ford Motor Company is aware of this issues and should be contacted as well.

      They had my vehicle twice to fix one problem and now I have additional problems. Contacted ****** and left a message to have him call me back in reference to the problems after the second time of them having my vehicle. No response or call back. I showed up to the shop the next day to find him just conversing with the woman who works at the desk. When I told him I had been waiting on his call back his response was ******. He gave incorrect information about what my insurance company said to him about working on it a 3rd time. I even had to put my insurance rep on speaker to correct what was actually said. I was told to call ******, the service manager, the following Monday to schedule yet another test drive. I left a vmail on a Monday and by that Wed.. still no call back. I contacted ****s customer service and they requested for someone to call be back and by the following Monday, still nothing. I called **** customer service a SECOND time only to be told they have the option to call me back or not. I took my truck to another shop and they told me that the service **** at Kent ********************** had put on a bad part. Which meant that I cant even take my truck elsewhere to correct the issue, because its the responsibility of the shop who put the bad part on to replace it. My insurance will not pay someone else to fix an issue they caused. After attempting to contact them multiple times it seems as though now, they are refusing to fix 1.) the original issue I went to them for. 2.) the issue THEY caused by putting on a bad part. And yet, they have been paid in full for each time they worked on my truck. I have a family of 5, with lots of travel planned and activities for my children; all in which I would need my truck. I have no clue how they are able to get away with treating ANYONE like this. Or maybe not enough people report their unethical and questionable way of doing business and treatment of customers.
