Solar installation was okay, with exception of a microinverter that wasn't working and took several weeks to replace. The biggest issue with Solar Holler was their mismanagement of a loan that I received at their recommendation through Credit Human. The funds were released from ************ (decent company) to Solar Holler and this amount included payment for a separate roof installation through a roofer of my choosing. Problem is, Solar Holler didn't promptly pay the roofing company for the completed work. Weeks and weeks went by, until the roofing company turned around and placed a lien on my house! Solar Holler's excuse? The roofer didn't provide a tax and business ID. Not sure why my roofer needed to do that. It wasn't Solar Holler's place to demand that information. The roof was complete, I was satisfied, and Solar Holler was just an inbetween. They finally made the payment, but the lien remains on my house. So now I'll have no choice but to go to court to get the lien removed. I can't and won't recommend them when others ask about my solar installation -- not even in light of a cash offer from Solar Holler for giving recommendations to new potential customers.

When I first heard the ads for Solar Holler, I thought, "Great! I can get solar power, don't have to buy 'Made in China' and can support a local West Virginia business." It cost me over $20,000 and doesn't work. I don't want to exaggerate. I bought, and Solar Holler installed, 16 panels. 7 of them don't work. They haven't been working since March 31 after being installed in January of this year. Each month since April electricity production decreases and my electric bill increases. That's the bad news. The good news is Solar Holler has offered to reimburse me the Grand Total of $20 for lost energy production. I have the email to prove it. If you think that's good news, place your order. If you think that's crap, find yourself a different company. This is just one example. There are more, but this is the one that is most damaging to me financially. They simply don't have time to fix it because they're too busy installing more of there junk. They send out a technician once a week. He doesn't fix it (maybe it can't be fixed?) and he doesn't come back the next day to continue the work. He comes back the next week!
