I purchased a vehicle on 3/3/2023. As is with the guaranty that if the car broke down within a reasonable amount of time of three weeks Quality Auto would pay for repairs. I was not offered to purchase an extended warranty for the *** Sportage I purchased until 3/15/2023 when the car broke down. I was driving a rental car at the time of purchasing the *** Sportage which I drove for a couple of days and added the *** to my car insurance on 3/7/2023 which is when I started driving it. I drove the car a total of 8 days when it broke down. I called and sent a message to the salesperson Gavin who ignored my messages. I was told to take the Vehicle to *** **** **** **** which is who repairs the vehicles for Quality Auto. They had the *** for 10 days in which they sent me three estimates to repair the car which turned out the Motor needs to be replaced. The three estimates were between 7400k to almost 10k. I told the car shop that I was not going to pay for almost 10k in repairs on a car I drove for 8 days which cost me $12,500k cash. They contacted the Quality Auto owner to come retrieve the *** Sportage. I called the owner of Quality Auto and he was rude and condescending towards me. He has ignored me when I have tried reaching a resolution with him. The broker at ******** ****** where I worked has tried setting up a meeting with Mr. M******* so that we can resolve the issue and Mr. M******* has ignored his text. Today is April 8th 23 days since the car broke down and I have not heard from Mr. M******* of Quality Auto or *** **** **** **** where the car is at. I was taken advantage by the salesperson of Quality Auto. I hope no one else purchases vehicles from this car shop as they lack integrity and will take advantage of anyone they can as long as the get a sale and commission on their sales. I have additional paperwork for example when I returned the rented car if needed. A lawsuit will follow if Mr. M******* does not cooperate with the BBB complaint.
