Took my truck in for mechanic service in October 2021. I asked them to look over the truck and address brakes, some suspension, and battery issues. After taking it to them three times, and having them tell me it was fixed, I had enough. The brakes were not bleed properly and the battery system they claimed to fix actually created another issue and caused it to drain the battery. I recently asked them to refund me my last bill ($500 or so), because they reached out to me and asked how they could help, based on a ****** review. I've paid this place over $4,000 since October 2021 with no response from them until they recently contacted me from my ****** review.Business response

Upon our investigation we have determined the following...The truck was in terrible working condition prior to it ever coming into our shop. 30 years old and excess of 185,000 miles. The customer authorized several repairs and declined many including wiring repair and battery cables, etc. According to our records the customer paid 2 invoices # ***** for $3151.93 and Inv ***** for $411.93 totaling just over $3500.00 - not anywhere near his statement of paying over $4,000.00. We checked with the prior owner of the vehicle and many of the problems that this customer complained about had been on-going with this older vehicle and the vehicle had many issues. The complainant declined some of the repairs that were needed and yet now is upset because of the issues that resulted from not addressing those problems. We are confident that the repairs that were performed were necessary and justified. We have an open door policy and obviously realize that problems may and can arise "particularly with an older, beat up vehicle". We have always tried our best to rectify issues that have arose. We offered to do so but were met with vulgarity, offensive and ridiculous exchanges from this person. We tried to better the ****** review and again were met with vulgarity. The last threat he made was to complain to the better business bureau-which we are glad that he did-after 20+ years in business this is our first. We did a bit of a background check on this customer and he has plenty of bad reviews for many businesses. It seems that he might be hard to please! If a refund is justified we would more then happy to oblige but in this situation we feel that all repairs were justified and the charges incurred were fair.Customer response
