    Business response

    07/11/2024

This statement by **************** is completely false. My Parts and Service Director **** ***** actually has been in direct communication with the manufacturer in regard to the issue **************** is having with the folding bunk-bed in his new 2024 ***************. **************** is upset because the repair to his bunk bed was denied by ***** and then he requested copies of our communication with ***** but we would not supply them to him. As part of our dealer agreement we are not allowed to give out this type of information because these are dealer contacts only and the phone numbers and emails are for dealer use only and not to be given to any customers for any reason. There is a Jayco customer service number that I believe **************** already has and has contacted them himself. The trailer has only been here at First Choice RV for warranty repairs one time when it was three days old and the things that could be covered or repaired under warranty were repaired and the things that Jayco declined coverage on were not repaired. By no means does this situation or RV qualify for a buy back or anything else by any standards. The warranty coverage decisions on trailers just like any other new vehicles are 100% up to the manufacturer and not up to First Choice Ford or its employees. We will not take responsibility for those decisions that are completely out of our control. We as a dealer did offer to take a look at Mr. ******** camper again to see if there was another repair that could be done but obviously he has decided to take another route to resolve his issue. We are sorry that the situation has risen to this level but honestly our hands are tied when it comes to warranty approvals from Jayco.
