Source for Sports **************************** On August ******* I took my 3-speed bike to Classic Source for Sports in ******* work order No.******. I was told it would be ready in 3 or 4 days. Two weeks later, I stopped at the store and was told that they were busy and did not have time to work on my bike. On Sept. 11, I returned to the store and I was told again that he was busy but he would get to it. On September 19th,I returned and he said he had one hour of work left on the bike and it would be ready on Sunday morning (the next day) even if he had to work overtime. Sunday,the next day, my wife and I returned to the store hoping to get my bike fixed and ready to go. We were met by an aggressive employee who said in a rude and loud voice I heard about you. The bike is not ready. There is one piece missing. You can take it with you. Good luck finding someone who will fix it . I was also unjustly accused of being rude to an employee who worked on my bike. I have never been rude or raised my voice to an employee. On the contrary, I told the employee I was glad that the business was good and that they were busy. I have been more then patient. He brought the bike downstairs and proceeded to make a ****. I put the bike upside down and noticed that the wheel was not round after they had changed the hub. They had sold me an incomplete hub that they had in stock. I was not going to take a bike with a part missing and a wheel that was not round after they had changed the hub. On November 4, I went to the store and was told that the monthly order was not yet all unpacked. The next day I received a phone call saying that the part for my bike had not arrived. It would arrive at the end of November. In February 2021, I was told that they had a tracking number for the part needed for my bike. On march 26 2021, I paid $363.93 and took my bike home. The bike was not fixed. I paid everything in full,(including the missing part) and took my bike home vowing never to set foot inside the ******* Source for Sports store. I walked across the parking lot and bought a bike at ******** **** which I still enjoy. Since then I have told my friends of my experience with Classic Source for Sports. I will never recommend this store to anyone. On my last visit to the store (March 26), I was told they would call when the missing part arrived. We are now in September 22, 2021. It has been one year and one month since this all started. I have yet to receive this call nor do I have any confidence that I will receive a call in the future.
