We recently purchased a condo and one of the major problem/discrepancy is the blind in the master bedroom. It has big gaps on either side and is too small for the window which allows in too much light particularly at night time and heat escaping through the window pane. Bosa Developement has repeatedly refused to correct the problem. Their solution and advise is to “contact ***** ****** ****** ********* (the company they contracted to install the blinds) directly to arrange for the necessary repairs at your own cost“ “should you choose to proceed with ***** ****** ****** *********, we recommend reaching out to them as soon as possible to discuss the repair process, associated cost.”Business response

We appreciate your patience as we reviewed your statement.
Your original claim was investigated and deemed unwarrantable by your 3rd party Warranty Provider, as well as the Bosa Development Service Team.
As previously disclosed, the design intent and functionality of the blind is not to provide black-out or insulation (as the blind fabric is 1% opaqueness), but rather to provide privacy. Furthermore, the gap mentioned and photographed in your statement is a consistent roller-blind detail throughout the industry and not a project oversight.
Based on the above, your 3rd party Warranty Provider as well as the Bosa Development Service Team has determined that the design and functionality of the blind is as intended, and not warrantable.
Should a homeowner wish to pursue further customizations to suit their preferences and lifestyle ie drapery; vinyl etc. it is their responsibility to do so, in accordance with the strata bylaws.
