    I went to the toyota dealership to enquire about putting a deposit down for a vehicle. I was told I had to give $2000 for the refundable deposit and it would be estimated to take 2-5 years for the vehicle to arrive.When I connected with the toyota downtown dealership I was told it would be a $1000 deposit and 2 year wait time. When I went to reserve a vehicle at the downtown location I was told it wasn't possible as toyota ****** has enacted a rule stating I can only reserve a vehicle in certain catchments based on where I live. I spoke with toyota north ********** sales manager who instructed me the reason its $2000 is then only "serious customers" will put a deposit down and I would be more likely to get a vehicle sooner. This is completely inaccurate as I was instructed that based on wait times toyota ****** equally distributes vehicles. When asked where my money goes during this time of hold it became apparent that toyota *************** collects interest on it. As a result of toyota ******** stipulations I am now forced to put a deposit double the standard of every other dealership to reserve my future vehicle with a dealership that is monopolizing on peoples restraints. I am requesting that all deposits should be a standard set price no matter what toyota dealership you are nearest. I also don't want to be forced to do business with this dealership when geographically the downtown is even closer to my home.

    I have spent lots of time and energy to trade in my vehicle to get a new one from this dealership. However, this specific dealership and sales representative Elsa P** low ball my vehicle and deny to sell me the new vehicle by cash. They insist I can only do this by trade in, otherwise making the claim I can’t get this new vehicle. I told them repeatedly I want to pay off right from the get go without trade in since you low ball my ********. they still want me to finance the vehicle after trade in. This business is very unethical and I would say it’s ** for customers nowadays to get new car by trade in. They already bump up the new car in MSRP, and still want to charge rocket high documentation fee and want to set you up in trap for financing and charge you even more fee for doing this. I am so regret I purchase the vehicle today and I really want to get my money back. They also claim the deposit I put is no refundable? What? I don’t even get a car why would I have to pay? Please shut this place down and do a investigation and also fire the sales person. I don’t want to see more customers to go through what I go through today, and it’s like they are making customers to beg them for selling a new car!
