    I worry about the business practices here for other consigners. My ***** shoes were either ***** ** ******* with no offer from the business owner of store credit or refund. *** ***** *** **** ** ****** ** ******** *** ** ******** ****** ** **** ** *** *** ********* ******** *** ********* ***** **** *** ***** **** ******** ** *** ****** I will never shop/consign here again as she has cut off communication with me when I asked for any kind of store credit/refund for the loss of the ***** heels.

    This consignor brought her shoes for us to sell on Dec. 9, 2019. On September 14th, 2020 - 9 months later she inquired about the status. Our consignment period is for 2 months only. I informed her they were not sold . Nov.24, 2020 I asked her to come pick them up. Dec. 21, 2020 I reminded her via writing to please pick them up. I did not hear from her until Dec. 13, 2021 one full year later, she said she would come get them within a week . These shoes were stored in my back room for over a year. We had a break-in and many items were stolen. We did not receive any insurance money. Our contract also states: Item#3 Bon Retour is not liable for theft, damage or fire. My contract with the consignor clearly states the period for consignment is 2 months. I told her they must have been stolen as we cannot find them. This is more than a year later that she inquired about them and did not come to pick them up back in Dec. 2020 when she said she would. Our contract states: Item#5 Monies and goods unclaimed at the expiry of this contract will be held for 6 months only. We cannot be expected to store unsold items for this length of time. I have all communication in writing and can provide a copy of the terms and conditions of consigning. If you need these items please just let me know.     Hi Glenda, I did not sign a contract. I was simply given an MS number for reference for the shoes as I had bought them from your store and realized they were too large. I was unable to get my money back as you had already given the money to the consigner. This is understandable. What was unacceptable was the lack of communication about the terms. If I had been aware that theft allowed the business to be completely unreasonable for a loss, I never would have left them there. If you had told me something along the lines of if I do not pick up my shoes they might not be there, I would have had picked them up within the given time frame. Prada shoes are not cheap so I am frustrated by this experience.
