Paid of my Spring Financial account on ************* balance of $8425.00.This account was opened with Quadfi on August.10th 2022 for $15,000.00 Spring Financial bought the loan from Quadfi in October 2024.After paying the loan off via e-transfer to Spring Financial, the sent me a letter confirming my account was closed - paid in full. Another account was opened on my credit report on June.5th with a balance of $8425.00. This has damaged my credit score by adding a balance and new account to my credit score. I filed a dispute with ********** today. I sent an email to ****** at Spring Financial today, explaining my concerns. I would like this account and balance removed from my credit reports and have Spring Financial held responsible for opening a second unauthorized account.

I did not sign any contract or agreement and was not adequately contacted by the company to approve the contract or agreement. I have provided, in writing, a revocation of any Pre-Authorized Debit charges, which I did not approve in the first place. I want my account with ********************** closed and the contract revoked. Any unauthorized payments taken from my bank account will be met with criminal charges as I did not authorize these payments and the contract was forged, I did not sign or approve it.

I was playing with the idea of getting a loan from Spring Financial and fill out information online and was denied. a couple of days later I received texts from *********** many texts confirming I was pre-approved for up to *****. So that got my attention and decided to try again with her. giving her my information again I was denied. At this time, I was sent to another department who told me about the foundation plan to build my credit ***** was his name. He told me I needed 39 points to build my credit to 700 then after that I can reapply for a loan of ***** at 9.99 percent and get approved. I wouldn't have to stay on the plan long. that it will cost me ***** every 2 weeks, that I can cancel after i get my 700 score rating. He sent a link to read and told me to click on the box. i told him I did not want to sign anything without reading, he said I am not signing anything it's just acknowledgement. I did that, next received signed paperwork email package. That was May 27th. May 28th i went online to look at the reviews and noticed people were on the plan started at a lower score and ending score was where mine was or lower and got approved for an actual loan. why couldn't I get approved for a loan as did those people. I did not feel good about that and went live chat for some answers, but did not receive help, she did not know. So I email *********** with the same question, no reply. on the night of the 28th I sent her another email to cancel the plan. no answer, I text her to cancel the plan still no answer. I called and got a call back from *****, who confirmed she cancelled my plan. I asked for email confirmation and was assured I will receive one. and that my account is now closed and nothing will be deducted from my account. I still did not receive my email confirmation and up till now no ***********. I need confirmation email that my account was closed. I want no dealings with Spring Financial.

    Hi *****,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about the frustration youve encountered.

We did attempt to follow up with you by phone but were unfortunately unable to reach you. Please know that your concerns are important to us, and wed like to provide some clarity around your recent interactions.

Spring Financial works with a variety of independent lending partners, and all loan applications are evaluated through their systems. Due to privacy and compliance guidelines, were not provided with specific reasons for any loan denial. However, these decisions are typically based on several factors, such as credit history or financial profile, as determined by the lender.

In regard to the Foundation product, it is designed as an optional credit-building program intended to support clients in improving their credit scores and potentially increasing access to future lending opportunities. That said, we completely respect your decision to cancel. We can confirm that your Foundation account has been fully closed, no payments will be processed, and your cancellation is complete. You should have already received an email confirming the closure. To ensure full clarity and peace of mind, weve also sent a formal closure letter, which you should receive shortly.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused throughout this process, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. If theres anything further we can do to assist, please dont hesitate to reach out.

    Thank you,

On Dec 21, 2023 I was approved for the foundation "loan" through Spring Financial but on Dec 23, 2023 it was closed, and I have email confirmation from them. I did not want this loan, even secured, due to my predicted financial situation being more unstable and less than I had anticipated and therefore it I needed to cancel it immediately and not go forward with it. As I said, they responded with a confirmation that it had been cancelled. I did not see any money deducted from my bank account that I had provided on the application. Now, I see on my equifax report, that Spring Financial was open from Dec 2023 up until February 28, 2024?? It shows payments were made?? Where were these payments coming from? I have not paid anything! It shows zero balance, 3500 credit limit and zero past due. Where are these payments coming from? Not my bank account. I use my computer for business purposes and now I am totally paranoid that somehow my clients financial information could have been accessed by Spring? I only have my bank and credit card information in my computer along with several clients. I would imagine they would say something to me of course, but now I am completely bewildered and VERY concerned about this. Payments were to be ****** or so per month... I have not made any but the report shows payments have been made towards this OPEN account from Dec 2023 to Feb 2024. I called Spring just now and they say the account is closed. This makes me feel sick with worry, I do not like this at all and want to know what is going on here.

Signed up for Foundation program in March 2024. Made bi weekly payments of *****. I requested cancellation numerous times after 6 months but never got called back once. They charged me multiple times for twice as much on the wrong day which is a clear violation of our contract. My credit wasnt updated for over 8 months of payments. They updated it finally after I requested it multiple times and then now theyve turned around and changed it to all missed payments. I have records and proof this is absolutely false.

    Hi *******,

Thank you for reaching out and giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. We truly value all feedback and take your experience seriously.

After reviewing your account, we found that ************** program was enrolled in independently online on February 26th, 2024, following a declined loan application. At that time, there was no interaction with a live agent who could have provided further explanation or guidance. We understand how this could be confusing and genuinely regret any misunderstanding that may have occurred.

Our records show that we made several attempts to connect with you through voicemails on July 28th, 2024, November 20th, 2024, and March 14th, 2025. Additionally, there were two live chat sessions during which our agents shared the number to call for cancellation support. We also sent a text message prior to your first payment with details about the payment date and amount.

Please know that ************** is an entirely optional product, and we are committed to ensuring that our customers fully understand what they are enrolling in. Were very sorry for any inconvenience this situation may have caused, and we appreciate your patience.
If you have any further questions or if theres anything more we can do to help, please dont hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you.

I had a serious and unethical experience with Spring Financial. I was transferred to an agent named **** who told me the interest rate would be in the single digits, but added he could not confirm because the call was being recorded. It came across like he was doing me a favor, but it was clearly meant to influence me without accountability. That implication led to my consent for a hard credit inquiry.I told him several times that I had company and could not continue by phone. I asked for the loan terms to be sent by proper email so I could review them. He refused. He pushed for another call and would only communicate over text. Then he accidentally pasted a full message into our chat and admitted it had been written by ChatGPT. The message was in the third ****** and clearly a generated profile about me. I never gave permission for my data to be processed through any AI system. When I confronted him, he claimed it was just for spelling. Immediately after that, parts of our chat history disappeared. I told him I had taken screenshots and that I would be reporting the incident.Only after that confrontation did the loan terms finally appear by text, but still not by email as I had requested from the start. Reviewing terms like this over text is not appropriate or transparent. The monthly rate he shared in that text translated to an annual cost of borrowing over 40 percent. This was nowhere near what had been implied when I gave my consent.I am requesting removal of the credit inquiry, a formal apology, accountability for these actions, and compensation for the hours I have spent documenting and reporting this so no one else has to go through it.

    Hi ****,

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and we are glad to hear from you!

As per checking, it shows that you enrolled in ************** independently online on February 19th 2025. The sign-up occurred online following a declined loan application, and there was no interaction with a live agent at that time to provide a detailed explanation. Please note that this product is entirely optional. And it also shows that we sent you a text message on prior to your first payment informing you when your first payment will be and the amount that will be taken on your account.

Applied for a personal loan, directed to link a bank account while waiting for approval, denied approval but connected to another linked page saying I was approved for spring financial foundation (credit building) automatically sent me an agreement, to which I did not agree to my email, which was pre signed with my name to where it says sign here, then payments then started coming out of my account, once I noticed I called and had them cancel the agreement and send back the funds procured from my account, just to notice they took out another payment so I called again and they told me that it was still an active agreement and they would put me in a category of pending closure and I would get a confirmation code in 15 days, the agent I talk on the call prior told me he had cancelled my agreement/ account and would be re emburrst within 3-5 business days. They have taken out 70+ dollars twice out of my account first one was April 25 /25 I canceled the agreement/account May 7/ 25, and they taken another payment May 9/25, and when talking to the agent today she said that they are scheduled payments, but if they know I only get money once a month, why would they schedule payments so randomly? And without consent from the bank account holder, or make an agreement that was not agreed upon. They are now saying they will not reimburse all my money because they raised my credit score, how can they raise a credit score in under two weeks? It seems they took another payment because I closed it and were trying to withdrawal as much before actually closing the account, I think they are fraudulent and taking advantage of ppl looking for help by having an automatic system that sets ppl up without their knowledge, until they realize unknown payments coming out of their account and under the withdrawals in the bank statements they put as personal loans spring financial and not spring financial foundation which they claim to be its own department, I also contacted them by online chat

    Hi ******,

Thank you for your response. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share more about your situation, and were very sorry to hear about the financial difficulties this has caused you.

We understand that you're seeking a refund for additional payments beyond the one weve already committed to refunding. After carefully reviewing your account history, wed like to clarify a few important details regarding the charges.

On April 1, 2025, your application for a personal loan was unfortunately declined. At that point, you were redirected to apply for *************** which offers multiple plan options: Foundation Basic, Basic Plus, Gold, and Gold Plus.

Because this application was completed independently online, and the account was activated through verified customer confirmations, were unfortunately unable to offer a full refund of all payments made prior to your cancellation. However, as noted previously, we will be issuing a full refund for the most recent payment that occurred after your cancellation request.

Thank you again for your understanding. Please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns, were here to help.

    Hi *********,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look further into your concerns. We truly appreciate your patience throughout this process.

After carefully reviewing your account and payment history, we were able to identify the missed payment in question as corresponding to December 29, 2022. We understand that you were previously advised it may have been tied to a different date, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration this may have caused.

It appears that a payoff request was submitted around December 19, 2022. At that time, the payment processor was temporarily paused in anticipation of the loan being paid in full. When the payoff was not completed, the payment processing resumed as normal. Because your account follows a biweekly payment schedule, a payment was processed on December 15, 2022, and the next occurred on January 12, 2023. This suggests that a payment should have been made on December 29, 2022, but due to the pause, it did not go through.

We understand how important it is to have clarity around your payments, and we want to make sure everything is accurately resolved. While weve reviewed the bank statements youve already provided, they dont include the date in question. If youre able to send us the statements covering a few days before and after December 29, 2022, well be happy to review them carefully. If no payment from Spring appears on your statements during that time, it would confirm that the payment was not processed and is still outstanding.

We truly value your business and want to ensure this is resolved to your satisfaction. Please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need help obtaining the requested documents, were here to support you.

    Thank you,

    Hi *********,

Thank you so much for your response, we truly appreciate you taking the time to send over the documents.

We just wanted to kindly follow up and let you know that were specifically looking for bank statements covering the period from December 29, 2022, to January 12, 2023. It looks like the ones you provided go up to December 28, 2022, so were missing just a small portion of whats needed. When you have a moment, wed be grateful if you could send the updated statements with the full date range so we can continue moving forward with the investigation. Thank you again for your time and cooperation, it truly means a lot.

    Thank you,
