Ive waiting 2 yr to give this crappy review! In hopes Spence would address our issues, but nope. So here it is Save your time and money and go somewhere else! Most men have Not purchased engagement rings so quality and nolage of the seller Spence is of utmost importance!! My now wonderful husband was givin the big run around talked into a 19k? Lab growen diamond!! Which would have been fine if..ring was on time, its a pretty ring but the lab which is in ******** ** as are we was Not ready intime for our beautiful engagement in ******, then when it was ready the stone 1 ct was loose and the ring the wrong size , so I still didnt have my ring as they took it to fix, got it back still bad fitting as was my husbands ring, so again they took our rings, Again!! Forgot to mention when my ***** first picked up the ring they just handed him a box and papers and sent him on his way grr they should have ****** him the ring put it in a lil bag or something he felt so lost! ?? So as of now a yr has almost gone by and Spence has had our rings longer than us! Being engaged with NO ring, but is bought and paid for is so sad! So my Husband ring still doesnt fit right!! They took it again and charged us $80! Told us our finger size changes 5xs a year!! Thats crap! So now we have to pay! Of course we did but again we are left without a ring! So buyers beware please!! There are many other jewellers who care and will do a much much better job, what was to be a beautiful experience, turned into the biggest s*** show! ?? so now we still have ill fitting rings, but just gave up its been 2 yrs now! Shame on you Spence Diamonds, way to take advantage . Ps. I also wonder how many times you can cut , refit the diamond ( because its loose) and repete sizing before its Not even the same ring from all the tampering!!

**** **** **** ******** ** ****** ******* ****** I recently had a terrible experience in my Engagement and I had to leave for my Own safety. My ex and I over time accumulated bills in my name I couldnt afford, the abuse got worse and I had to leave. So I left having my ring as a safety net *** * **** *** *** ***** *** *** *** ***** ******* ***** ** **** **** ** ****** ** *** *** **** ** ***** ** ****** * *** *** **** **** *** ********* ** **** ** ***** *** ** ******. I took it to Spence and they wont buy it back I have to spend a lot of money I do not have to upgrade. So I took it to ********* gold and they do not recognize it as a real diamond. Took it to ***** jewelry again not recognized as a real diamond, so I took it to ** in ********* and he completely *********** **. Acted like it was a cubic zirconia. They market as they have real diamonds and they are worthless. Over $50000 on a ring that would have no value for any family to pass it down. No safety net for women like me that run from abuser. It is false advertising and they are just ******* *** ** ***** *****.

Hi *******, Diamonds are all we do, and we go through a rigorous diamond grading review process of every stone by hand to ensure every aspect of its industry certification is met - including the ********************* of American certification ********* We at Spence do not suggest buying diamonds as an investment and offer our customer the choice of both mined and lab created stones. While we do not offer a buy-back option, our trade up program allows our clients to receive the exact price of their original purchase. We are disappointed to hear that we wont have the honour of serving you again. Wishing you all the best.

That is absolutely ridiculous I never was given the diamond as an investment. I was given it as an engagement ring and then went thro years of physical abuse, but hey thanx for gaslighting me on that. Just want to know how can you even claim that your diamonds are even real when diamond dealers will not buy them and they consider them to be fake? Also the appraisal is signed by a person. The appraisal like the value for your fake diamonds isnt even from a diamond company just some random person. yes you have the *** saying it is a diamond but it is NOT the *** that is saying the diamonds have any value. Spence probably makes so much money for selling fake diamonds and pretty much robbing ppl that you have to pay *** large just to get that paper that gives the diamond no value outside of your fake jewelry store.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancé and I had my ring custom made at Spence in the summer last year. It was ready at the beginning of November. I had to send it out to get resized, which was fine - but when it was returned to me it was missing a diamond. I called the next day and let them know, I brought it in to be sent out and when it came back it was cast in a different color. My ring is rose gold with white gold prongs around the stone and when I picked it up it was ALL yellow gold. I argued with the manager, Jordan for days - the staff tried to convince me it was the PH in my skin that had tarnished the color.... I waited days for them to contact the Vancouver Spence to confirm that it was coated in the wrong color. When I brought it in, I then had to ask for them to give a detailed invoice as the one they had sent me just said "items need to be fixed" I wanted what happed on record in case it had happened again. Fast forward a few months another diamond falls out (great quality...) I go to pick up my ring last night and it is the wrong color FOR THE SECOND TIME!!!! The manager had nothing to say - no apology, nothing. I had also brought my ring in the ring box my fiancé picked it up in when he proposed and they returned my ring in a tiny ****** bag. Such horrible customer service. I would never ever ever recommend Spence to anyone.
