    If I could leave ZERO stars or NEGATIVE stars, I would. Services were misquoted and what I was told was not what was done. I was told they would softwash my roof and they power washed the roof with HIGH pressure and also left 50% of the roof untouched. I had to bring in other trades to fix the bad work of Shine Shack. Doors, windows and stucco were damaged and also they broke numerous roof tiles. DO NOT USE SHINE SHACK. The work was done very poorly and not managed.

    Shack Shine was hired to work at out townhouse complex. The workers don't use fall protection unless they are caught and called out. They work on high rooves cleaning gutters from the edge and leaning over. If they were to fall it would be devastating. I called ******** and they shut the site down. I also caught one of the workers smoking weed during lunch. He would have gone back up onto the roof high if I didn't call his supervisor. Shack Shine lacks basic safety and should not be hired.

    As a loyal Shack Shine customer for Xmas lights for 5 years in S.Surrey, I can tell you that what transpired this pre holiday season was nothing short of absolutely unacceptable, totally disappointing & beyond stressful. To what should have been, the easiest part of Xmas. I booked beginning of Oct for light install on Nov 26th only to never receive the typical **nfirmation email that Ive received all years prior. To having to **ntinually call the franchise & head office to get a response & **nfirm that this appointment would actually happen. All the while like others mention, receiving a ton of marketing ************** asking me to book my apt soon ?????. Not only was I told in the 7 phone calls over 2 months that my apt was IN FACT booked. But that they were having issues with head office trying to poach clients with these marketing emails. Ya think?? And to just ignore. So I **ntinue to ask why I cannot, at minimum, get a **nfirm email to ensure my apt is in fact secured? To which I was told, they would check right away, they would get back to me, I would most definitely hear back from someone, etc etc. To which Im sure you can imagine, I never did. Even 2 days before apt, I called in a panic stating that I have always received a email & a text informing me to leave my light buckets out & make sure the boys can access the property fully for the install. Again, nothing, no resolve, no follow up, ***** All in all, the amount of times I chased this **mpany. The amount of people I spoke to in a 2 month period to **me to ANY type of resolution, was nothing short of ridiculous. NO customer should ever have to chase a **mpany for services, especially when they are paying top $. So I would say based off of my experience & all the others, save your time &peace, & go with one of the other COs in the area that are more than happy to provide excellent service to eliminate stress on holiday seasons. SS get your act together!! U built your ** off local business??

    Do not book. I scheduled an appt two weeks in advance. They did not show on the day of service. I called to inquire and they told me the franchisee had canceled my appt. The appt was canceled without any notification. Do not book. Worst customer service.

    Used mulo tule times, always on time, always ensure job gets fully done, I love how they send me beofre and after photos, highly recommend.

    I didn't even get as far as hiring this outfit. I called & asked for a quote & made an appointment for them to come to my home to take a look. Barely an hour after I talked to them (on a very bad line), I received an email telling me that they were pleased to give me an estimate! What? They'd used ****** maps from which they could not possibly tell the type or scope of work required- good grief! On the attached document, there was a statement that "****** ****** ****** ** **** *** ***** ** ** ********* ** ***** ***** ********** ****** ***** ** *** **********," which meant the cost could substantially increase on the day of the job, making the quote/estimate entirely useless. My reply was that since they were too lazy to come out & do a quote properly, then I believed their lack of work ethic spoke for itself. All they did was waste my time. (I had to click on at least one star to leave this review, but they deserve zero for zero effort.)

    I would give them no stars. We have a large home that needed large windows, screens, gutters and roof cleaning. They did a terrible job and actually made more work for us. We are ******* and have an upcoming wedding at our home. They left us a dirty mess after being here for 3 days and not even completing the work that was quoted at $5,000.

    Our strata/townhome complex had Shack shine power wash our exterior vinyl siding this year (2022). We received a notice stating when to have our windows/blinds closed/screens off/planters etc moved away from the vinyl for easy access. This notice was changed to the following week after one week of waiting … the contact # stated on this notice was missing the last digit so contact was difficult as we needed to call the main office, where our inquiries were not returned. They actually missed the vinyl siding on our patio area and we have been waiting for 3 weeks to have this area completed - we have already paid for this! I have spoken with our strata and sent emails to Shack shine with photos of our dirty vinyl siding. As of today, no calls back. I would not recommend this company. This company promised to come this afternoon between 1-3 and as of 4 pm, have not arrived to clean.
