Had a terrible experience when relocating my service from one address to another. I called them weeks in advance and setup my appointment date. They missed the first appointment, didn't even call to say they weren't coming. I called them to setup another appointment for a technician to come to my house, the next available appointment was over a week away. Again, waited for a technician on the second scheduled appointment, they were a no show again. Called them yet again to setup a third appointment, finally the came. It took over two weeks to get my internet hooked up. Each appointment was scheduled from 8-5. I missed two days from work with lost wages. I contacted the **** escalation department to discuss some form of compensation for my loss. The best they could do was pro rate the bill to accommodate forthr time of loss service. This company has a terrible internal man power management issue. Instead of focusing on integrity and customer satisfaction, they pass the inconvenience and cost onto the customer with no regard. The whole experience left me feeling devalued, angry, and taken advantage of. I hope they change their business practice.Review from Crystal W.

Customer service is awful, they took my phone out back to the manager and when the manager came back out he said it had a Crack on the screen. There was no Crack when I took it to the store and now the warranty is void. The phone was the ****** pixel 9 pro fold, not even 2 months old. When I called bell about this, all they said was that staff are trained to know they are not supposed to take the customers phone. The manager should come up front. I am now stuck paying for a phone that is broken( not by me) and it's only 2 months old. I would never recommend that store!!Review from Darrell R

Our dissatisfaction starts a number of years ago, first with cellular. A promise made on a phone deal which was not honoured. Eventually switched to another provider with much better service. Internet we did not have much for options. First few years service was good. This May, after contacting Bell about a modem/router that was giving spotty signal in our home, they suggested sending us a newer model which I took was offered at no charge of providing we returned the old modem, which we did. Consequently, we were charged a rather large sum for the new router and it took months to acknowledge that they received the old one. Finally, in September , they threatened to cut service in the bill wasn’t paid by Oct 7. A payment was made Oct 1, they cut our service Oct 2! We have returned the new router and let them know we are done. Now with ********.Review from Ross B

We have been a Bell/Aliant customer for years. Moved to a new location and wanted the same internet service fibre op. We were told that we could not have fiber internet as they will not install it in our building, Their service centre is 30 feet away from my apartment and we were tolg that we can only get wireless home internet 25 unlimited. So that is what we have since June 2023. and still being charged 105.00 a month after trying to call and getting the run around to call different numbers again and again.. wireless home internet 25 unlimited is only 70.00 a month . the full price . apparently, they are going to change my bill to 70.00 a moth but I am looking for a refund of 35.00 dollars a month plus taxes for 14 months and was told it was not going to happen. What can I do as I am disabled and have limited funds? Really tired of being overcharged and this is getting very tiring I need help Ross BReview from Joe M

After looking at their website, I see that Bell Aliant offers Promo Internet 1.5 gbps for $90/month thanks to a monthly 25 dollar credit, and after a year it goes to 110/Month. I am an existing customer, and pay $134/month for 1Gbps internet. I called them to point out the speed and cost difference for existing customers. They told me because I am an existing customer, I do not qualify for the existing customer pricing of 110 and if I want 1.5 gbps I have to pay $144!!! They said there are other additional credits for those customers that are not listed and I no longer qualify. Nowhere on the site does it say this. They do not care about existing customers, do not want to foster customer satisfaction or loyalty and do not care if you leave (the rep said "do you want to cancel your service instead"). I would give zero stars, but you have to give one to leave a review. I will be looking for a new service provider.Review from Vincent D

******* customer service, staff has no clue how fix most of their issues. Wait on hold for hours most of the time. Currently sitting on hold for tech support for nearly an hour now and can I hear a woman moaning and talking in the background. They refused to send a technician out to fix the problem and said "it will go away". Obviously it hasn't gone away. Talking to the staff in store is great, I usually deal with them, when I can, but most tech issues require you call their so called "customer service".Review from Jonathan M

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am on my sixth call and untold hours of hold time trying to cancel and settle the accounts of a deceased former customer. Really a pleasure to continuously rehash their death as Bell obfuscates and reads from their play book to draw out the process trying to extract more money. On my sixth call to them today I was asked for documents including a death certificate which had not been requested in any of my past five dealings with them trying to cancel and settle this account. After pointing this out, the rep suddenly settled the account with no need for the death certificate. Using a play book to extract more money from a deceased person's estate is the lowest of low behaviour. Stay away from all things Bell and Bell Aliant.Review from Bonita T

I gave them one star only because you have to give them something to leave a review. My advice is run run run away from Bell Aliant. They are useless! Hooked up my fibre op tv years ago with occasional glitches but nothing too frustrating. Yesterday my internet was down. Called and got a guy who fixed the internet and also made sure my phone was working OK. Wasn’t until the evening that I noticed my pvr was not working for the tv. I could access everything on the tv except the recorded shows. Called Bell Aliant, in the evening and got not one but two stubborn rude people who flatly stated that since my 4K box that Bell installed was not hooked up to a tv but rather in the garage hooked up to a modem that I would never get use of the PVR. Basically saying I was a liar and that for years we did not get use of the PVR. When asked for a tech to come to my house they flatly refused saying unless I moved the box they installed to another room they would not send a tech out. What kind of amateur lowlifes are they employing at BELL Aliant??!! Get rid of Bell and just stream or better yet get rid of technology altogether and start enjoying life again. What a horrible company.Review from Mia H

I fee I got ripped off by Bell Aliant. During the process of cancelling service with Bell Aliant, my service was cut off a week earlier. I phoned to complain, today. It turns out that Bell Aliant billed extra charged me and deducted extra $144.70 from my account. I phoned to find out what happened and to correct the unfair charge, I got cut off on the phone by the customer service answering person. All this ending for a senior, myself, who is on a very tight budget, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, I’ll never subscribe to Bell Aliant again. I feel helpless and feel that I have no recourse.
