            In December 2020 a Provident Development's employee damaged our new home's siding (while repairing an outlet) and replaced it with an obviously mismatched colour. The area is about 3ftx3ft and very noticeable (located beside our side door). We have been promised (many times) by ***** **** who works (or worked?) at Provident that we would be made whole and our home would be repaired. This has not happened and we are going on one year since the damage. ***** will not respond to emails now and we have a feeling that the company is not intending to bring our home back to the original state. To be clear, there is mismatched siding on the area (this took about 3 months to have them put siding on - a 3x3 ft hole was left for 3 months) and we were told by the person that did the repair that he was told to put the mismatched siding on to "shut us up". We want our home repaired - the difference in siding is obvious and not due to our negligence, but due to an employee damaging our home.

            Since moving in to a Provident Development built home in November 2022 we had to deal with the following issues: - since day one we have listened to a noisy, vibrating heat pump that rattles the pictures on the wall in the master bedroom. Providents response, if it is keeping you awake turn in off at night. ****** Mechanical the installer has refused service as well. - laminate flooring contaminated by construction debris and is impossible to clean. Providents response, since it wasn’t identified at the time of the initial inspection they will assume no responsibility. - severe cracking in the garage slab. Providents response, the floor is concrete you should expect cracking which raises the question how badly cracked is the slab under the flooring in main house. - hardware on exterior doors started corroding shortly after moving in. Providents response, no response. - leak in ceiling over kitchen that was a result of an incomplete plumbing install, a 3ft section of vent pipe never got installed. Providents response no response. This our 5th new purchase in the last 50 years and without a doubt the most disappointing and frustrating. Any issues brought to Providents attention are dismissed with cold disregard. I caution anyone considering purchasing a home this company to do there homework and have reputable home inspection company do a complete top to bottom inspection before proceeding.
