Taylor Flooring was the contracted vendor for First On Site, and were to lay new flooring in two rooms in our home in November and carpet the stairs in December. No times were given until the day of. My husband works an hour from home and had to take time off work to be there to let the workers in and move furniture. One person came to do the floor in November and did not complete part of the rec room. My husband contacted Taylor immediately and was told that they would come the following day, again no time. So my husband had to take an additional day off work. The work itself is not great, its vinyl planks over a newly laid sub floor and it was already warped in one area where it wasn't installed well. The floor that butts up against the door frame is cut poorly, and the floor was cut around an ETS unit with what looks like an extremely dull knife. It does not look like the work of professionals. Taylor Flooring had a date of December 4th for the stairs, my husband again took time off work to be home and no one showed up. He called around 11pm to ask and was told the appointment was cancelled, no explanation why. I emailed them and asked as we don't have unlimited time to take off work and skipping an appointment is unprofessional. We were told to call First On Site, I responded that our project manager does not answer his phone (his voice mail explicitly says this), still no reason (just told "call someone"). I finally get a hold of "someone" and was told the appointment did have to be cancelled and Taylor Flooring was supposed to call and follow up. A month later they have not but have sent the bill for the carpet we never received or had installed. Told special order carpet couldn't be refunded- never asked for a refund wanted carpet. Would not recommend
