Hi *****, Hope you are well. We are sorry to hear about your warranty claim concerns. There are two methods we offer to open a warranty claim. The first being an online claim which if a customer doesn't have an email can ask a family member or relative to assist with the claim. This option is free of charge. The second option is to have a technician sent out to the residence. The in home inspection is conducted by a third party and there is a service charge for inspection. This service is not covered under warranty. If your ******* aren't able to do the online claim, hopefully a family member can assist with the online claims process which is free of charge.

Purchased a $300 mattress protector that was advertised as 100% waterproof but unfortunately it failed and sweat penetrated through and ruined our expensive mattress. They denied the claim because sweat is not covered. Have to pay out of pocket 100s of dollars to get it professionally cleaned. **** * ***** Will never buy from Sleep Country again.

I’ve already reached out to customer service. The individual that I was in contact with is named *******. She denied the claim for professional mattress cleaning and like I said I have to pay $400 to have it professionally cleaned locally. She confirmed that the top of the line ****** mattress protector is waterproof and I responded with the literal definition of waterproof which is: impermeable to fluid. This is an example of FALSE advertising, poor customer service and retention.

Purchased a ***** **** mattress for my young child one year ago. I had intended to get a cheaper one from the ***** line but I was talked into getting the **** by the sales person. I was told that it had a 10 year warranty (and it is a great warranty) and I wasn't even offered an extended warranty at time of purchase, yet it says declined on my receipt. This week while lifting the mattress up to change the sheets and clean the mattress protector like we do regularly, we noticed black mold starting to grow on the mattress. We contacted customer service right away, gave them all the required information and pictures just to be told that it is considered environmental and the warranty does not cover it. I did not spend $800 on a mattress that is nearly brand new to have to throw it out a year later. The mattress is advertised as antimicrobial, clearly this is false advertising or the mattress is defective. We live in a clean home, with proper ventilation. The mattress is on a bed frame with slats, it has continuous ventilation, a mattress protector, zero stains, the linens are laundered every week and the mattress is rotated regularly. This makes zero sense, this has not happened to any other mattress we have owned. After complaining a second time we were offered 50% off another mattress with this company, for what? It just to happen again potentially and I would be out even more money? No. If the mattress was older I would consider but the mattress is nearly new and barely slept on. This is so unsafe for anyone, especially a child and I was encouraged to purchase this by one of sleep country's employees. We have spent thousands at Sleep Country but after this experience I would not purchase from them or recommend them to anyone I know.

      Hi *******,

Hope you are well. We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with your mattress. Unfortunately molding issues is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. Sleep Country is the retailer but the warranty is provided by the manufacturer. Molding issues are related to the environment factors. We can offer a discount voucher towards a new purchase but unfortunately it can't be replaced under warranty. If you wish to accept a discount voucher, please contact our customer service team at ###-###-####.

Bought a pillow from sleep country put my head on a sample one felt okay so I bought it. Tried it out when I went to sleep on it found it very uncomfortable. Can't return it only place I ever heard of that won't refund my money. You better make sure you like your pillow before you buy.

      Hi *******,

Hope you are well. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your pillow. We can only accept return of items that are in original packaging and unused within 30 days of purchase. New products can take some time to soften up a little since the sample pillows in store are used and may have a different feel. I would suggest using it for a few weeks to soften it up if you find the pillow to be too firm. If you need further assistance please contact our customer service line at **************.

Very poor service on refund of $252.22 on ****. Unopened bamboo sheet set returned because of poor quality (loose threads) evident through packaging. Ordered online, delivered January 30th, the sheets were returned to local store on February 3rd. As of February 13th, still no **** credit. Called SleepCountry customer service and was informed that their policy was to process **** credit within 10 to 15 business days. It takes one day for them to charge to ****, but 3 weeks to process credit???

I finally received my refund eleven days after my return was received. When contacted, SleepCountry’s main customer service advised that all refunds take 10 to 15 business days to process, standard company policy. Not for this customer, thanks. I will shop elsewhere.

On November 23, 2024, my partner and I purchased a certified preowned mattress (aka “CPM”) from Sleep Country in East Regina. We were assured multiple times by the sales representative while shopping that all their mattresses come with a 100-day sleep guarantee. About a month and a half later… we are both extremely unsatisfied with the purchase. The mattress we picked up from their warehouse was NOTHING like the one we laid on in the store, the mattress was hard as a rock. When I called Customer Service to initiate the return I was informed that CPM’s are final sale. Needless to say, we were SHOCKED. This was never mentioned to us at the time of purchase, and both my partner and I are confident we would’ve remembered such a critical detail. I was told I’d receive a call from a store manager within 24-48 hours, but it took six days and 2 phone calls to customer service for the original sales rep to call back and say verbatim, “It’s your word against mine.” At this point, I insisted on speaking to a manager, which took another seven days. When he finally did call, he informed me that my claim had been escalated to the district manager and “the best” they could do for me was to return the mattress and receive a 50% in store credit, to which I declined. When I explained that the root cause of my dissatisfaction was the mattress’s unbearable firmness, the manager suggested an alternative: try a mattress topper for one month, free of charge to see if it would add comfort. This felt like a bandage solution rather than addressing the core problem. Ultimately, we accepted the mattress topper as there was no better alternative, however, we are still unhappy with the whole process and “solution”. This experience has been nothing short of infuriating. If you’re shopping here, beware of ********** sales tactics and non-existent customer service. I will NEVER purchase from Sleep Country again *** ********* ****** ***** ***** ****** ***** ***

***** ******. When they try to sell you a matress, they eeally emphasize about their replacement warranty and that in my case was covered for 10 years. Their warranty is a ****. They make you send all sorts of pictures with very stringent requirements, and their tactics is to get you to jump through hoops removing the matress again and again to take additional pictures that were not part of their initial requirements only to eventually refuse the warranty. I purchased a $1500 mattress that has sagged causing severe back issues and their eventual response was the warranty is void due to incorrect proper support. I have a high end bed frame and everything is fine except the body impression sag. They then have the nerve to ask if I need sales support for a new mattress. ******* **** *** I will never buy there again. * **** **** *** ** ******** ** ****** ***** ********* ********* ********** ** ****** *** ******** ****** ** ***** ****** **********

Hi ****, Hope you are well. We are sorry to hear that your claim was denied. Your mattress is being placed directly on the slatted frame which has 4 inch gaps in between which could be causing the sag on your mattress. I would suggest putting a 1/4inch plywood on top of the slats to cover the gaps which should improve the performance of the mattress. If the sag is still there after being placed on plywood, we can certainly look at other options including replacing the mattress if body impression is more than 1.5 inches.

Thank you BBB. Very interesting how their position changed from warranty being null and void, to "do this" and we may or may not honor warranty if the problem persists... Their cumbersome warranty process required several photos with specific directives, to which I complied. Nowhere in that process required photos of measured slat gaps. They asked for this only after the fact. As well, very telling of their intentions that they claim my slats were 4 inches apart when my photo clearly indicates 3.7 inches. Also, on my initial call to the store to get customer service assistance, the salesperson informed me that for my ******* mattress, the new models have solved the sag problem with improved support in the high use areas of the mattress. This clearly implies that my previous model was deficient. I have zero confidence left in this company. If I go ahead and purchase a 1/4 inch plywood as directed, I feel that they will simply come up with yet another excuse down the road. More hoops to jump through while their position keeps changing...
