I called on Jan 12/22 to inquiry about why my bill increased drastically during 2021, spoke with Mickey *** *** **** and was promised a call back from him once he reviewed me bill. I did not receive any response from Mickey, went to a competitors website, ***** **********, and received an on line quote for a comparable dumpster for only $126.72 per month vs the $526.52 per month ($400.00 per month more) I am currently paying with this organization. I called the company again on Feb 3, 2022 and spoke with Karen, then Mickey called me and I told him that I want to cancel my service and Mickey indicated that there will be a $4,000 penalty, I asked if he was kidding and then the price of the penalty went up to $5,000. Karen then emailed me a copy of a contract I signed on October 21, 2013, nine years ago that was cut off with the Terms and Conditions 1 and 2 which were blurry and the words cutoff. I then question her about this and stated that there was no mention about a penalty, she then email a full copy with all of the terms that did not have me signature on it. I then questioned why the price of my service increased from $391.84 in Jan 2021 to $526.52 in Dec 2021, an increase of $134.68 per month. I was then sent a rude email telling me that they are allowed to arbitrarily increase my price when they feel like it, again relying on the fine print of a contract, and I have 30 days from the increase to dispute it. That is not right, I should be able to question what I am paying for at any given time regardless of the contract I signed. This organization locks customers into a 5 year contract and rolls it over into subsequent 5 year contracts and holds the customer hostage to the fine print of a contract I signed 9 years ago. I paid into the contract for 9 years and have my account current and in good standing I fully expect this company to remove their dumpster from my property and cancel the contract with no penalty.
