On January 2, when the 3 drivers arrived, only then was I informed of multiple ****** costs. These included but are not limited to having to walk up and down stairs. We had agreed to 2 movers and the company contacted me shortly before moving day to send a third person for the heavy items. I agreed, stating 3 would make the move faster. The third person sent had the flu and spent most of the time sitting in the truck not helping. Only the 2 healthy people moved the heavy items. They did not bring enough boxes, as they were supposed to pack ******* ** ** **** ******. They also didn’t bring appropriate wrapping supplies for the many antiques and antique jars I specified were priceless. I had already packed half of the items before their arrival but left the breakables, thinking they would bring bubble wrap, which they didn’t. Only one person wrapped or boxed things as slow as he possibly could while the other 2 stood around and did nothing. They refused to move the furniture while waiting and said they had to put all the non furniture on the truck first. I had to pay for them to take a 15 minute break every hour! They went as slow as possible and took a ridiculous 9 hours to move my bachelor sized apartment belongings! They broke many things, including my china and marked up all of my furniture. I got upset because I watched one of them place a black and dirty item on my ***** ************ ***** ********* **** ******* settee inside the truck without covering it. I made him remove the item and cover the settee with a blanket. They had a large stack of blankets but didn’t use a single one except for the one I insisted they use on the settee. When we were ready to leave the apartment to drive to the new address, I was told that I had to sign off on the documents and accept that everything arrived safely and pay as soon as we arrived at the new place or they were going to drive away with all of my belongings! When we arrived at the new place, they informed me that I also had to purchase their dinner and pay for their time to eat it before they would start to unload. They forced me to sign of on everything they had broken and damaged, but allowed me to pay when the truck was halfway unloaded. There are also a number of things missing, like 2 of my china mugs! They packed frozen food from the freezer in a box and ** *** *** **** they packed a plant in a box with a white pillow placed on top.
To continue from the complaint filed yesterday, * ***** **** ** *** ********** ******* With the ****** ** *** red item, they told me they wanted to dismantle it to move it. I told them twice not to dismantle it as I brought it into the apartment by myself without issue and it didn’t need to be dismantled. They destroyed it taking it apart. They also offered to remove all the pictures, shelves and other things hanging on the wall. They took all these things down, dismantled the red item and did not give me a single screw or anything else used to hang all of these things. Most of these were made of cast iron, with matching screws and attachments. It has been very difficult to find new hardware and impossible to find anything matching the material. ******** ** **** an antique pot/pan hanger that secures to the ceiling. They broke 3 of the cast iron hooks off of one end. Not only does it look lopsided and ridiculous now, but this cannot be repaired? I also had a rare $800 plant that I made very clear had to be handled very carefully and couldn’t be broken. *** *** *** **** they broke it all into pieces. It’s now dying and I can’t save it! * **** **** * ******* ** *** ******** ***** ******* * ************* **** **** ***** ** * *** *** ******* **** * ***** ******* Thank you Thank you
On top of everything else, I ******* ** **** * ***** ***** *** have just realized I did not get any of my roasting pans or any of my other oven dishes whatsoever, along with some of my china! They couldn’t have broken the pans, like they might have done with my china, so they must have taken some of my belongings with them???

I am rejecting this response because:I was forced to sign a form stating everything was acceptable prior to the ability to inspect a single item or ********** **** your drivers would drive away with all of my belongings otherwise. I was also forced to pay in full prior to having the ability to inspect anything.
You decided after the deposit was made, at the last minute, to call and inform me that you were sending a third person due to heavy items. That person never touched a single heavy item and spent most of the time sitting in the truck waiting for the day to end.
Do you consider it reasonable to send 3 people to pack and move, while only one person packs, very slowly I might add, and the other two stand/sit around waiting for a box? When I asked the 2 doing nothing to start moving furniture while the 3rd one packed, I was told they refused to move anything until all boxes were loaded on the truck. Does this sound reasonable?
I don’t really care about the miscellaneous items that disappeared. I care that 2 of my china mugs never arrived and one of my plates is broken on the bottom, ** ***** ** *** *******. I went back to the apartment hoping to find them but they weren’t there. They stopped making this pattern a long time ago and it’s more expensive now to replace pieces that the original cost of the items. * **** ******** ******** ** **** *** * ******* **** **** *****

I am rejecting this response because:
I have already stated all the reasons, including the fact that the 3rd person sat in the truck 90% of the time and didn’t work and I was forced to sign off and accept the condition of my items without having an opportunity to inspect them because they were all on the truck and I was told they would drive away with everything if I didn’t accept. I already told them I don’t care about anything other than the China and I sent photos of the missing cups, so I don’t understand why they’re asking again?
I’ve already replaced the other missing items.
