I had First Class Windows install new windows in my house. They were installed in March. Several of the windows don’t work. When you open the windows the top half falls down (this shouldn’t move) and the bottom half also falls down so they won’t stay open. The installer said a technician would come by to fix them. He didn’t give a date but the impression I got was that it would be soon. We are now at the end of May and nothing has been done. I’ve called numerous times but nothing is happening. Also, they were supposed to put in frosted glass in the bathroom and that wasn’t done, even though I paid for that. Again, they said they would change it but again, nothing is happening. I want my windows fixed!Business response

All work has been completed for Mr. ********.
- Windows that have a sliding problems due to the window balances have been repaired by the Window manufacture service technician second week of June.
- The frosted glass that was supposed to be included with the original order has been installed in the bathroom window June 5th
With regards to the customer initial letter, we completed installation of windows at customer home Mar 29th. At that time I was not informed by the installer that there
was an issue with some of the windows not staying open (although Mr. ******** told me that the installer told him that the window company (manufacture) would come out
to repair the windows. On April 20th received text from Mr. ******** regarding window opening issue, I visited the home Apr 25th to verify issues. I subsequently forwarded
my report to the window supplier to request that the service tech from the window manufacture would have to fix the issues. I also noted that bathroom window was not frosted
and sent request to window company to send new sealed frosted glass unit. On May 11th Mr. ******** contacted me to inquire about windows getting fixed so they can open.
I again advised Mr. ******** that I had already sent report to window manufacture to fix issues and told him that the window manufacture comes out to southern Ontario (they
are in Toronto) about once a month to do service calls. I called the window manufacture to inquire about the window repairs, they informed me they were going to call Mr. ********.
On May 25th the window manufacture service dept. called Mr ******** and arranged to have the repairs done second week of June.
