I used *************** at Crosslands General Insurance Brokers for 1 year of service beginning in July 2022. I paid all my premiums on time and never had to make a claim, In April 2023, the broker reached out to me regarding my motorcycle licence. I replied with the answer and requested the how it will change my premiums. I did not hear back from the broker and sent another email requesting how my premiums will change, and if it is automatic renewal. ****** advised the documents will be sent out but never provided information about my premiums. Next, on June 16, 2023, I advise the broker we are moving and request what the new premiums will be for the house and vehicles. I never heard back from the broker after numerous calls and emails. Finally on July 7, 2023 I inform the broker that I am going to cancel my insurance with them as I am moving in 2 weeks and need to get my insurance finalized on the new house. That day broker sends me the cancellation forms. On July 11, I cancelled my insurance with Crosslands General Insurance Brokers. In September, I received a letter from Intact stating that I still owed them $375.92 from when I had my policy with Crosslands General Insurance, I called Intact and they advised I would have to contact the broker about this, I called and emailed numerous times and could not get in touch with my broker. I spoke to the "manager" **** about this who told me to email my broker. Over the next 2 weeks I tried calling and emailing about the money I owed. I paid the money and spoke to **** again who said he would follow up. I sent **** a detailed email containing my conversation with **** and screen shots of the emails. **** said he would look into this and has since stopped replying. Crosslands had me owe $375.92 to Intact Insurance for early cancellation when I didn't agree to new policy or terms and had to cancel it.

    Business response

The Refund of $357 is being processed, have asked **** for a email to send the Etransfer though to.  The process just takes some time.

    Thank you,
    ****
