On September 3,2021 I sold my Yamaha Wolverine for the sum of $30,043.60. The gentleman that purchased my side by side and myself went to the *********** branch in Marystown. We went to the teller and his certified cheque was deposited into my account. I told the teller that I wanted to pay off my loan to yamaha financial services. She paid the sum of $30,043.60 as a bill payment to yamaha financial services. She told me that it could take 2 to 3 business days for them to receive it. Four days later I signed into my online yamaha financial services account to see if the loan was paid and it was not. I contacted yamaha and they said that they never received the payment. I reached out to the bank and they said that it was deposited. I reached out to the *********** customer care center and they have issued a recall to yamaha financial services twice. Yamaha Financial are saying that they haven't received a payment recall notice. This has been ongoing ever since September the 3rd. The weekly payments of $135.19 have been taken out. As of today November 25, 2021 my loan with yamaha financial services is $28,851.33. Last week I issued a stop payment from my account. The payment was taken out last week but a day after it was deposited back to my account. *********************************************************. I want to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I would like my loan paid off and the amount that I have paid from September 3, 2021 to November 25, 2021 refunded. My contract number is CDXXXXXXXXXX with yamaha Financial Services. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/01) */ Good Afternoon: Please find below the steps taken to resolve this issue: - Because the fax was not received on time, the interest was still accruing on this loan - We retrieved the payment on November 17th and applied it to the loan - We also informed the customer that we received it and we will refund him the overage - We refunded the customer $432.40 + $17.00 (requested by the customer) - We will also ship a package to the customer with an apology letter to make up for the internal error.
