    I had a highly disappointing experience at Maxx Auction. I purchased a washer and dryer set for $1,246, advertised as brand new, but upon pickup, the items clearly showed signs of prior use—including detergent residue, water stains, and yellow discoloration. I raised the issue with the store manager, ******* *****). After a long discussion and waiting nearly 3 hours, they offered to replace it with an open-box unit that lacked packaging and did not appear new either. Rather than resolving the matter professionally, I later received an email terminating my membership and banning me from their premises. This felt like a retaliatory response for simply raising a valid concern about ********** advertising. The experience was handled in a completely unprofessional way.     They sell defective items and do not accept return ; in fact any return acceptance is soley on their discretion and clearly they reject any return request. Very **** *** impolite customer service. My experience of buying items from them was throwing my money **** ******. Not recommended at all.

    ***** **** **** ***** ** ********** Bought a Graphics tablet card that was advertised as new. When installing has issues and it was discovered the card was switched with a lower end unit thought serial numbers on unit and box matched. Contacted Maxx and was eventually approved for refund after submitting videos and numerous pictures. Then after returning the item and receiving confirmation that our refund would be deposited later in the day, I was emailed hours later to say the refund would not be honoured. They will not talk on the phone, only via email. They have now closed my account so they don’t have to pay. **** ******* *** * ********* ******** ********* ******** ************** ***** anything they say as they will change it after you leave claiming it was your issue and not under their warranty for the product

    ****** I have never experienced such **** and ********** behaviour from a service representative or company. I purchased two weeks in a row - with a larger order this week. When I inspected my items, one (out of many items) that was described as new, had tags but very clearly did not appear new. I approached a representative to ask about a refund. I waited patiently as I got passed off to someone else, and as multiple staff were called in - not at my behest, but because they weren't sure what to do and said they needed someone with more expertise for that item. I was patient and calm and never raised my voice or was ****. Towards the end I did approach the desk and speak to several people as they were examining it - again not being ********** just explaining what I knew about the brand/item and condition. They denied the refund and I expressed that I didn't think that was appropriate and was trying to ask if there were other options or someone I might speak to about it. Suddenly another representative - **** * *** ***** **** *** *** ********** Samantha - cut in and was extremely **** and **********. She cut me off repeatedly and said The answer is no. We're not having this conversation. You can take it or restock it for a $50 fee. Decide and leave. She did this multiple times when I tried to speak calmly to her. ***** *** ********** ** **** *** **** ********** ***** ***** **** ******* * ******** *** ********* ****** After your visit yesterday we have decided that it is in both of our best interests to close your account. We ask that you do not visit our premises at *** ****** ***** ***** ***** ON. If you do, we will ask you to leave..     Absolutely disappointed by the customer services. The gazebo I bought was described like new, sealed. When we start installing it we realized that one leg is missing... The bicycle was described as used, with scratches - it was broken.

    **** ******** ** ********* ******** ********** *here employees participate in bids and create over priced bidding wars for items that have defects. A TV with Pixel defects goes for $600 plus a 20% buyers premium and the 13% TAX. There are no more max deal items for direct purchase. When you leave an honest review they suspend you account and ban you from their premises. ***** ** ***** ** ** ****** ******* ***** ******* ********** *** ** ********* *****  Used to like the auctions. Now, with the new website and changes, they now charge 20% buyer premiums on all auction items, plus tax. That is a low point for me. It was always fun bidding, but now I have to be careful. $100 item will be $120 plus tax. They should have just started the bids at a higher price point. On top of everything, you can't withdraw your bids. ***** ******* I won't be bidding as much as I used to. Also, they got rid of the monkey rating heads. It was a good way of knowing the quality of the item you were bidding for. Now the site is plain professional *** * ***** ****. Sorry, but I am not too impressed. ** ****** *** ********* * *** **** **** ****** But I think you have lost our business. A big loss for people who bid for high-priced items. $1000 item will cost you $200 more plus the tax. Why wouldn't you just pay the $200 or so extra at a retail store for a brand new item with a warranty and a 30-day return policy.

    These people have the worst customer support and customer experience. I wasn't able to timely pick up an item so I asked if I could send someone on my behalf, they said everything is ok just tell us their name. After doing so, they told me that person specifically couldn't go, then another customer support representative told me that specifically MY account couldn't do that. After going back and forth in the same thread they told again that I could, then that I couldn't, couldn't even make their minds. After pointing out how ***** this was, they completely banned my account and even ****** said I was banned from their property. ********* ***** *** ********** *** ** ******** ********** ********* *** ******* ******** ******** *** ********* ** ******** **** *****

    These people have the worst customer service I have ever seen, **** *** ******** *** ***** either listen to them or you’ll be asked to leave with your account suspended. Zero tolerance even when they are at fault! Your business is running because of us customers! High wrong prices mentioned, so much premium and selling **** *** faulty products, ****** ******** **** **** **** ***** *******

    **** ******* *** ** ********** **** ** ***** Had purchased items and could not pick up do to a family matter and had paid for two small items and they refused to allow pick up a few days later. Communication with this company is the worst * **** **** ***** ****. No sympathy at all or willing to work with customers. ***** ****** **** ***** ******** ***** ****** ***** *** ****** ***** ********** **** **** ******* *** **** **** **** ** *** ****** **** ******* ******* ********** . They add a 20% buyers premium then charge 5 times to restock an item.
