    We have worked with INKAS payments for 6 months, and we have had troubles with our POS twice. The support responded rapidly, and everything was okay. *** ******** ******** ****** ** ** **** *** *** ****** *** *** ***** so now it's good. But rates can be less, of course.

    ** *** * ****** ** *** **** *** *********** **** **** ******* two months after closing my merchant ID with them they continue to take money out of my business account. This has been a huge nightmare and a massive headache for me. The gentleman I spoke with by the name of Darren was very **** ********** and will not reimburse my money to me. He keeps on claiming that they did close the account, but when I spoke with ****** one of their subsidiaries who they farm out to handle some of their workload, my old merchant ID number was still active and they cannot find the new one this has been terrible!!!

    I received a call today from someone at this company trying to trick me into thinking we have an account w/ them by first saying our rates are going up. He kept saying repeatedly, have you received our statement this month? He was trying to trick me into saying the name of our merchant company. He then got very ***** and **** when I asked questions and ****** me saying things like " you know, when you put payments through w/ credit cards? How do you not know what I'm talking about?" I should have hung up on him sooner, it was the most ******* phone call I have ever received in the company *** * ******* * *** ** **** ****** I have tried calling their customer service line numerous times today but no answer, you get a voicemail. I have sent an email demanding we be removed from their calling list.

    "I received a call from Shawn at INKAS Payments early March 2024. He was nice and genuine. He convinced me that I would save money on my monthly statements. I signed and I miss-understood that I was leasing the terminal. I emailed him explaining that I cannot be locked into a lease, I am within my first 30 days for cancellation, and I would like to cancel and receive a return shipping label for the machine. I was immediately called by Darrin in the cancellation department. ** *** *** **** ********** ***** **** * **** **** ********* He spoke over me the entire time, I could not complete a sentence. He ended by saying I will call you Monday with a rental agreement and hung up on me, cutting me off again. After that, I was convinced I was making the right decision to cancel. I also will not be saving money overall, my current provider helped me understand that in a clear, calm manner. * ******* ** ***** ******* *** ***** ****** *** ******* *********** **** ********** ** ****** ****** ** ***** ******** ** ** *** ***** *** I cannot be in a lease Things are very uncertain for small businesses right now. I have not received acknowledgement of my cancellation request. My machine is unplugged and ready to ship back. I cannot have them charging me for months **** * **** **** ** ******** * ****** ** *** **** *** ****** *** ** *** **** ****** ***** **** **** ** ****** I need confirmation of cancellation now and assurance that no further charges aside from use up until end of day April 12, 2024."

    In December/22 I was contacted by an ********** customer service rep for Inkas who wanted me to switch credit card processing companies. I said to the guy, whose name was Warren, that I was planning on retiring within 2 years, so I didn't want to enter into a new lease for a Point of Sale device. He said: "No problem, when you're ready to retire, just call us and we'll arrange to hand your device over to someone else. There's a lot of demand for ****** devices" (which is the type of device that was sent to me). Well, wouldn't you know it, now that I'm retired Inkas says: "Too bad *** - you signed a lease. We can't transfer your POS device." It's my own fault, I suppose, for trusting * **** **** ******* ******* ** ******* ***** ***** * **** **** ****** ** ***** **** **** **** Now I'm on the hook for over $1,000 in future lease payments to ***** **** ****.

    This Company misleads merchants into thinking they are calling on behalf of the companies existing debit/credit processing company and that they can negotiate lower fees. I asked them for a french speaking representative, which they can't provide, but assure me they'll send someone speaking french to meet me the next day. **** ***** ***************

    This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. The original call told us we would save $200 a month on our POS fees. After one month it was clear that was not the case. We claimed buyers remorse and asked to cancel our contract. we returned the POS machine and were told it was received. They did cancel our merchant account contract, but not the leasing contract and have been paying over $55 per month for a POS terminal we have already returned. Nobody will help us. We have tried to Stop Payment at the bank but that takes 45 min per transaction to do this. So 45 minutes each month at the bank to stop payments. ** *** ******** ******** **** ***** ************ ******
