We bought an induction stove, delivered today without oven racks. The LG customer service was without a doubt the worst we have ever dealt with. First they told us to deal with **** *****, as that is where we bought it. Even though it was shipped from LG. Then the rep said, if they had the racks in stock they would be shipped in 7 to 10 days. We told him we are having a dinner party in 2 days, his response too bad about that Yara who we were escalated to *** **** *****. She said we carefully inspect every item before it leaves the warehouse and it would not have left without racks. Not sure if Yara was blaming the delivery guys or accusing us of *****. Yara would not give us a time frame when to expect the racks, just said we would get a call a day or two before delivery. Yara though *** *** ***** *********** giving us a 10% discount on a future online purchase. Yara kept going into detail about this offer only so good for a limited time, we tried to get back to our issue of no oven racks. Yara could not have been more dismissive *** ************** *** ********- LG electronics is a Canadian subsidiary of LG. Not really a great endorsement to buy Canadian. We will never purchase another LG item based on the horrible customer service from Yara. Neither Yara or the first rep even apologized for the inconvenience. Kept repeating the line, nothing I can do. LG. Do better. ***** **** ****** ** at least try to look for a solution.

Unfortunately we bought all three LG kitchen Appliances! Fridge, stove & dishwasher! The compressor in the refrigerator went after a couple of years. The replacement compressor was free, the installation was around $750! Not to mention hundreds of $’s worth of food that no replacement was offered by LG! The range was a disaster! Specifically the stovetop! We mainly used the front two burners both of which were extremely erratic as far as heat! Sometimes burners would get super hot on 3 or 4! It happened unexpectedly so food often burned before you realized. We had the two burners replaced under warranty. About two years after purchased. Since then, the better part of four years after purchased, the replacement burners have still been erratic as _____, *** **** * ******* **** **** ** * ******** ******** ******* **** **** ******** **********. Repeated Repairs, No Resolution – Disappointed with LG **********  I regret purchasing the LG ********** refrigerator. It has broken down three times, and despite multiple service visits, the issues keep coming back. Each time, LG charges for the repair visit, but the fridge never stays fixed—we always end up right back where we started. 1. Compressor changed in 2022 2. Freezer broke in 2024 3. Stopped working in 2025 The representative says sorry the unit is faulty.. we paid the real money, wasted real time and money in repairs food loss was real The worst part is the ongoing struggle to have a resolution . I’ve spent time, money, and effort following up, but LG’s customer service has not been helpful in resolving the issue. Given the price of this appliance, I expected better quality and support.

I purchased an LG Induction Oven on October 31, 24. At the time they had a promotion of receiving a $250 **** cash back with the purchase of an induction oven. We moved into our new home the end of November. Today, (Feb 11th, 25) I went online to claim my **** card rebate. I found out that there was a deadline of January 31, 2025 to claim this **** cash back promotion. I called customer service to ask for an extension to claim the cash back return that I was eligible for. I was turned down with typical, "Im sorry you did not meat the deadline..." I'm very disappointed that a huge company like LG could not honor their promotion, because I was 11 days late in claiming my rebate. I purchased $10,000 worth of LG appliances for our new home, and LG could not honor the $250 rebate, because I was 11 days past the deadline. Nowhere on my invoice did it say that there was a Jan 31st deadline. I just found out about it when I went online to claim my rebate. This makes for a very very poor customer experience. ****** ********

Purchased an LG Fridge in 2022, and the fridge stopped cooling just 2 years later. After research, it shows there's a class action lawsuit against LG specifically for fridges that stop cooling at 2-3 years. You're suppose to receive $150 compensation with no documentation of purchase, and I have all the receipts for the purchase so I should be entitled to more, however the period finished as of October 2024 leaving me without compensation from the known defective fridges. I had to pay $550 out of my own pocket for a repair, although in the manual of the fridge model it says clearly that the Compressor (the part that stopped working) has a 5 year parts & labor manufacturer warranty. Every interaction, I'm told the fridge only has a 1 year manufacturer warranty, extremely frustrating *** ******** what I've experienced.

I used the LG out of warranty program in September 2024 and the technician was unable to fix the fridge and was informed my service call of $405 would be refunded in 6-8 weeks. I was told the refund was approved Oct 8 when the clock started. I have called every week after this timeframe and told be patient they are behind and once I hit 12 weeks I called daily and was given a case manager who never called back and got to another case manager who keeps telling me he has no answers from finance and should not take this long. Every time we speak I am promised an update by the end of the day but every day comes and goes and such a struggle connecting as they never call back. But every conversation is the exact same. Will look into it and get back to you with never an answer and always be patient. For such a large company this service is horrendous *** ****** ** ***** ** ** they done stand behind their programs.

I bought a dishwasher with an extended warranty, and a 10-year warranty on the motor (which was actually written right on the side of the dishwasher). The motor failed after 6 years - well within the supposed “10 year” window, so I contacted LG. I asked for a replacement motor so I could change it myself (something I am able to do). After a series of back and forth emails with their customer service department over a 2 week period, they finally told me they couldn’t send me a motor, but could only send one of their technicians to my place, who would then charge between 600$ and 700$ for the repair. He then admitted it wasn’t worth it, and said I should just buy another LG dishwasher. He asked if I wanted help looking into that. I said no, I simply wanted them to replace the part that they claimed was under a 10-year warranty. He reiterated that it would be impossible, and that he could give me a 20% discount on a new dishwasher. To be clear - our dishwasher works except for the motor that is leaking. First of all, it’s false advertising to say a part is under warranty when really, it’s not. Additionally, it seems objectionable to take advantage of a broken part that is easily replaceable as an opportunity for an upscale. And then there’s the poor ecological stewardship, of not even attempting to replace a part, but instead suggesting we replace the entire dishwasher. Built-in obsolescence *** ********* ****** I can’t think of anything else. Needless to say, it’ll be my last LG purchase. **** ***** ***** ** ** **** *** ***** ** *******

***** LG ELECTRONICS - TERRIBLE QUALITY AND EVEN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE We recently purchased our first home and decided to treat ourselves to new major appliances. On November 3rd, 2024, we bought an LG refrigerator, hoping it would be a reliable addition to our household. Unfortunately, the fridge worked for only four days before the compressor failed – an unacceptable issue for a brand-new appliance. To make matters worse, the fridge was fully stocked with groceries, costing us a significant amount of money, all of which had to be thrown out. LG sent a repair technician over a week later, who informed us that the compressor would likely fail again. True to his prediction, the fridge stopped working just two days after the "repair," resulting in yet another complete loss of groceries. We reached out to LG and were told they would issue a credit for a replacement fridge. However, after multiple follow-ups, we received no updates. It wasn't until today, nearly two months later, that they suddenly produced a credit reference number. During this call, I requested to speak with a manager or an escalation department, as we’ve been living without a functioning refrigerator for almost two months. The agent initially refused, claiming compensation wasn’t possible, but after some back-and-forth, they reluctantly offered a mere $200 – an insult given the frustration and financial loss we’ve endured. This entire experience has been deeply disappointing, from the poor product quality to the dismissive and unhelpful customer service. Losing groceries twice and going without a fridge for such an extended period has been a nightmare. ***** ******* I regret choosing LG for all my major appliances, *** * ******** ****** ******* ********** **** ***** **** ******** *** ******** *** **** ********* *** ******** ******** *** ****** ********

** *** *** ******** **** *** I purchased a range and within 4 uses the stove top scratched without me having done anything out of the ordinary. Hot cookware leaves huge white streaks on the top that don’t wipe off. I sent LG photos and they won’t do anything about it because it is cosmetic; however, the issue is the quality of their product and I couldn’t have known these were going to be issues before buying the range and using it. The only option they gave me was to pay $350 for a technician to come fix it. I had the range for less than 2 months at that point.
