I hired Braeside Construction to build a powder room. From the start, ****** and his team were available, professional and courteous. They were knowledgeable and offered me options as I was considering the design of the space. This was especially important because I had not even considered the option they presented and it was the option that I chose. ****** didn't try to pressure me into any contract with him or into any steps with which I didn't feel comfortable. He was respectful and patient. I was pleased by how quickly he could get the project started (the circumstances were just right) and how quickly the project was finished. Any delays that occurred were not his rather they were suppliers that were outside of his control (e.g. the vanity was being built by a different party). They did a great job of blocking off spaces to reduce the amount of dust and protected the floors and stairs. When things didn't go as planned (as can happen in construction), ****** was able to pivot and find a solution quickly and efficiently. An example of this was the venting was planned to go one way and when that wasn't going to work, he found a different way to do it. They did additional work on some walls (unrelated to the powder room) in my house and again, they gave me options about what could be done and were upfront about the costs. I also found the sub-contractors (plumber and electrician) to be efficient and thorough. To me, it shows that ****** has built up a good team of professionals on whom his clients can rely. ****** called me a day or 2 after the completion of the project to check in with me about the final product and my satisfaction. I appreciated this personal touch. He also offered to return to install some final accessories (e.g.. towel rack). I am happy with the powder room and with the process. Based on my excellent experience, I recommend ****** / Braeside Construction. If I have another construction project, I would reach out to him. thank you

Review of Braeside Construction We used to have a very draughty closet under the stairs, with 1970s-type mock wood panelling and a grungy carpet. An unsightly wire structure with shelves was screwed to the wall of the closet and some nails poked out of the panelling. The odd wire, cord, or plastic bag would hang miserably from these makeshift hooks. The entire space was a mini-junkyard with an assortment of brooms, mops, and much useless stuff -- the kind that needs to be turfed, but sits idly for years collecting dust. During the pandemic, we thought about renovations but procrastinated endlessly. Finally, in 2023, we took the plunge and made the decision to convert this dark and dingy space into a powder room.A few contractors came to check out the nook. Only one showed genuine commitment and obvious expertise: ********************* of Braeside Construction. He visited us a couple of times in the autumn and spent some hours explaining the procedure that lay ahead. He answered all of our queries soundly, and reassured us when we expressed the odd concern. He inspired complete confidence. From the start, we sensed that the renovation would be in good hands and that we were dealing with a very approachable and affable contractor.******* team of workers, two very polite and genial craftsmen, set to work with efficiency and scrupulous precision. Always sensitive to our design preferences, they made sure that with each aesthetic decision we would be satisfied. And we were. At the end of each day, they swept and cleaned up dust and debris meticulously.Within less than two weeks, the dingy closet had receded into oblivion and an elegant powder room appeared before us as if by magic.We are extremely grateful for this addition to our house, both for its convenience and its exquisite look, and not least to ****** and his excellent team for building it. ******** and ****
