1 starIn mid 2023 I installed the Bell Wireless Home Internet Service. The Sales guy was Super nice, he convinced me the 50Mb service was adequate. He failed to mention that after 600Gb the speed drops to 20Mb for the remainder of the month.I then had a service issue, the ********* suggested a hard reboot of the modem and they would ship me a replacement. I rebooted, service came back up so I called them to cancel the shipment, which they said they would. Three days later I get this package from ****, since my service was working I just set it aside. Then I noticed an extra $199 plus taxes on my bill, so I opened up the package and noticed this info about returning the gear and the cost of not doing ***** I returned it, 6 weeks later I still do not see any refund of the charge. This morning I decided to call about this, on the Bell website there is no information about a number to call. It appears they want everyone to engage with their AI Chat bot.i finally did find a TF #, called it and got passed around 3 times before landing with a gal in the Philipines...very polite but unable to assist me. She transferred me again...35 minutes later I get answered by ***** in ************************* hrs later. She is a Front Line employee that has promised to help me resolve this.Unfortunately, I could have almost drove there from PEI in less ******* I am done with Bell...or Aliant or whatever they call themselves now. This company is irreversibly damaged. The whole Executive right down to he front line Managers needs to be cleaned out...especially their ******************** Executives. How do these Morons keep their job?Why is there not a Less than 1 Star rating....WTFReview fromMaria W

1 starI think Bell Canda is a scamming company. When some consumers are on strict budgetary guidelines. This company makes it impossible as they are consistently increasing prices or fees even when locked in for a two year promotional period, not even if you are locked in for a 2 month promotional discount. You are truly never getting a discount. I signed up for top internet speed only to discover that after a year of paying for it that a technician told me I could never get the speed I was paying for because the line from the box to home does not warrant that speed. I have also been passed around from department to department having to retell my story over and over. Even when getting a case manager, I was told she could not go back to see my initial order from 5 months ago. I was a loyal customer for 40 years and the stories I could tell you would not fit in this box. I am done with wasting time, frustration and stress. Not to mention being kept on hold for 40 minutes while the person helping said she was on an air call to her sister while clearing her cache. Horrible customer service!!!Review fromIngrid R.

1 starBell keep raising my internet Bill every six(6) months I am retired and on a pension. Just receive notification that my bill is going up again on July 1st 2024. I called them a month ago and ask to not raise my bill and there we go on July 1st. They advertised a package for less than what they give me for $50.00 for 2 years and are charging me $122.00 on July 1st for less of a package.I need something to be done for people who are retired and are not taken advantage of.Review fromMichael V

1 starPlantagenet / Alfred, Ontario & the surrounding townships We pay for Bell Canada satellite service for $119 dollars monthly for almost 2 years (with no other alternative available) It is without any shred of a doubt in my mind hands down 'the absolute worst' Internet Service Provider you can give your hard earned money to. I would rather go without internet altogether until this kind of horrible treatment to rural communities is fixed however living with others doesn't make that an option as they do not feel the same. Satellite internet at 15mbps down is not acceptable to be selling to anybody in the country and it should be considered extortion. I'd go so far to say that even back in 2015 development seemingly came to a halt for Ontario's rural towns. 50mbps must be made standard and Bell Canada has been actively stifling this goal. Bell Canada preys on the elderly by confusing them with terms that they make seem ok but do very little to educate their clients on what other alternatives they have depending on their specific needs or the needs of anyone else they live with - they show very little to absolutely no consideration for any one of their clients, and I don't mean the sales reps (although usually inexperienced) I mean the people way higher up than them that actually have the power to change the development roadmap. The *********** merger is hopefully bringing development to our townships in the coming years but this must be accounted for and legal punishment must be administered and the money seized must go back into the development of modern networking equipment so rural communities can be part of the world in a meaningful way. A percentage of >25% of Bell Canada's NET worth should be enough as a starting point to make sure this kind of behavior in the Telecommunication Market in Canada does not happen and will also show that the penalty for undermining communities and actively hindering development will not be tolerated in Canada. This must stop.Review fromMeaghan M

1 starThe entire experience was horrible. Starting with transferring the account when I moved. Back then I had phone and internet, they tried to install the phone in the livingroom, no, I work from home and I need that phone in my office. They tried to say they can't do it and they'd have to come back, I'd lose my job. the technician mcguyvered a phone **** for me.Then about 1.5 yrs in, I had issues with internet buffering for 30 mins -1 hour intervals this went on for another 18 months, and became more frequent in incident. They refused to replace my modem and then tried to pressure me into upgrading my internet to a more expensive package. I told them to replace the modem or I would switch and not pay the final bill. A technician came out and changed modems but nothing improved, I may have agreed to a new internet service under duress, which in court is inadmissible as consent. I also asked multiple times in those 3 years to transfer the account from residental to business. They answered the request by disconnecting the phone call. I lost $7,800 in wages due to this entire charade and they have the audacity to send me to collections when they failed to uphold their end of the contact.Review fromTara C

2 stars**** came to instal fiber cables to our entire block. No notification was given! I was away in Europe and saw on my camera that they took a large concrete saw and started cutting through my front pavers to access side of house. These pavers could have been lifted and are not on the market anymore. No permission was given. They attempted to get permission by knocking on my door 10 min prior. I had to call the City to see if there was a work order. (There was none). I then had to get police to go down and get the guys off my property. I also wrote my city councellor. They did fix everything after all my calls. But, I'm complaining because **** has an obligation to give notification of work to be done and has an obligation to ensure permission is given. Shame on them! I might now never sign up with them over my stress and a 50$ **** from calling overseas. I also have neighbors who are not impressed at how it all went down either.Review fromSevan Z.

1 starMy internet kept going down every day for over a month.I had to call them every time and get the same result. Restart your modem and wait any where from 15 minutes to an hour.since their TV is internet based, I have missed many play offs sports games (The only reason why I have *************)no one cared to do anything permanent about my problem.70% of my called were not recorded in their system, meaning they had no record of me calling them.even though **** failed to provide me with a service I paid for, they refused to credit my account. I was charged for a service I never received.
