      *** Agent gave a wrong estimate for the arrival time of the tow truck, >50% inaccuracy, on a good weather morning. *** should upgrade 2 things: one, a better chat bots, two, keep updating the tow track arrival time, via SMS for example, although the best approach is the (near) real time location of the truck.

      We appreciate your feedback regarding your CAA Roadside Assistance experience. I understand you recently had a difficult experience while waiting for service with us. I know a long wait can be very frustrating, especially when you receive multiple updates to your ETA, and it they prove to be inaccurate. We are currently expanding our SMS capabilities both from drivers and dispatchers, and we have dedicated team members who follow calls and work on getting any *** updates needed out in a timely manner. We are also working to expand our digitally connected truck network, having added 5 new connected trucks just in the past month, which means a member will receive a service-tracker link on their cellphone and can see where their truck is once it is en route to them for a real-time mapped experience. We will take your comments into consideration to make changes to improve our customer experience, and I hope we can do a better job for you next time you need us.

      They lied to me and there dispatch. Don’t get a membership. Will cancel when membership expires.

      We investigated your concern, and the agent did not do their due diligence when explaining what could and could not be done in your situation. Normally, if a vehicle requires a fluid other than regular gasoline, we will offer a tow to a garage so that a mechanic can do what is necessary, which was offered to you but was declined. The Agent then advised you that we would make an exception to put in power steering fluid but assumed that you had already purchased it. This communication error was our fault, and we will go back and coach the staff involved with your call. The call has been made non countable against your membership, and I have added 35 *** dollars to your membership as one time goodwill gesture for the incident. *** dollars are used towards your renewal, should you decide to give us another chance.

      Abysmal service from baseline towing. Rude, wouldn't even attempt to winch because I had snow in the driveway. Well, why would I need CAA except for abnormal situations like that? Similar rude service from *** ***

      This company is awful. I have just moved to a new house and therefore do not have a shovel yet. I had my drive way plowed due to heavy snow fall and after called CAA as my vehicle was stuck. 2 individuals came and refused to take my car out of the drive way claiming it to be snow bound. There is snow on the side of the vehicle and under (the snow under causing it to be stuck; hence me calling a towing service, if I could do it on my own I would not have phoned for help). The first ****** laughed at me when I said I had no shovel telling me to call back when I can get it out. Why would I call them if I can get it out myself. The second individual showed up in a truck not marked as CAA, told me I suggest you get a shovel and telling me they cancelled it. The back of the car is clear of snow. When a car goes in a ditch they pull it out. When its in a lane way they refuse? Please explain to me the purpose of this service. Regardless of the terrible attitude of their employees, if they are unable to pull a vehicle out in snow why do they advertise themselves as a towing service? Absolute worst service I have received. Please hire competent people who are able to provide the services you advertise. Your workers do not shovel to help get a car out? So you charge $XXXX for a membership to have half the work done for you? What about the people physically unable to do so? I will be cancelling my membership and warning others of this absolute terrible excuse for a company. The horrible customer service is the least of my worries as I have now wasted 4 hours for nothing. I am disgusted with this experience and have never felt so disrespected, disregarded, and invalidated in my life.

      s a not for profit membership based organization and with the increasing cost of road service, we have made the decision to limit some road service. These are clearly communicated in our Terms and Conditions, including If a Member requests a tow further than 100 kilometres away from their place of residence, CAANEO reserves the right to review the call and contact you to advise of your options, including selecting a closer garage.       I had a horrible experience, trying to book an all inclusive through CAA Travel ******. The travel agent was ****** ********. I have never used a travel agent and thought it would be a great experience. it was not... I asked about safe places to travel if you use marijuana, as I do not drink alcohol. She was not helpful, said she needed to speak to her coworker, forgot to turn her headset off, and proceeded to mock me. I told her I could hear her and she dismissed me. She did not provide any helpful information during the call. She then proceeded to get more defensive when I asked questions. Like i said , it was a horrible experience and will never use CAA travel again.

      Trying to speak with CAA insurance (for cars) . On hold for an hour before hanging up. Tried again and was on hold again for over an hour, Tried the call back but they did not call back. Finally got hold of someone and they said no call backs after 4 PM....Huh???The recording said you can access many of the issues on line. They are wrong, all you can do is read your policy.

      Booked cruise flight trip in January. Problemsalmost immediately...cruise portion disappeared from booking. When I called to ask what was going on no onewas able to find my booking. Unfortunately it was the weekend and Air Canada Vacations was very slow and my agent was off. Once Monday she was still unable to get through to ACV until 2 days later. We had reached the point where we no longer wanted to take the trip since no one at caa travel seemed on the ball and we had lost confidence in both companies. We verbally instructed her to cancel everything. It has now been 4 months and nothing has been cancelled despite repeated emails to her. We are at our wits end and will never book with CAA travelagain

      Last fall I missed a couple payments back to back as I had some major repairs done to my car and money was tight. Fast forward to now. Someone had accessed my PayPal and withdrew $999.99 twice out of my bank account, and naturally put my account in a negative balance. A lot of things missed being paid because of that fiasco. Between waiting for the payments to be reversed from my account, closing PayPal and waiting for new **** debit. It took a bit, and I started contacting everyone. CAA wouldnt restart payments, as 3 arrears automatically kills that option. I tried to work it out with them, but theyre not willing to. Ive heard they were difficult to work with, but never had problems till now.

      All I can say is they come up with all kinds of excuses not to help you in anyway shape or form to get your vehicle where it needed to be. I was stranded on the hiway 4 hours from my house it took 1 hour 45 minutes for the tow truck to come. We had no heat for the truck the fuel pump wasn't working. I had my wife who has M.S. and just went through cancer. And we're both 66 years of age.The tow truck driver was great. He drove us 165 klms and explained he couldn't drive me the rest of the way reason was CAA only gives 200 klm per trip and we needed to go another 145 klm more. So I called CAA and ask them if I could use my 2nd tow to get me home for I was allowed 2 twos using the 200 klms for each tow in one year and this was the first time I use my membership. They told me I couldn't use my second tow on the same trip because that was called piggybacking ?. So we get close to the 1st 200 klm allowed and it was at the 165 klm **** and the tow truck driver explain that it's best if he dropped us off in a parking lot in this little town for if he drove us the last 35 klm left from the 200 klm allowed we would be on the side of the hiway in the dark at 10:30 in the evening. So he told me if I wanted because CAA wouldn't help me with my second tow owed to me he would drive me the rest of the 165 klm left for $4.41 cents a klm which would cost me 6 hundred and some dollars at 10:30 in the evening. Called CAA told them our circumstances the person told me no again using my second tow. I ask to speak with her supervisor and for asking that must of upset her and I had to wain 45 minutes to speak to the supervisor after I told her we we're sitting in the truck with no heat my wife with M.S and who just went through cancer and the supervisor named ********* finally came to phone and said she that I wasn't getting my second tow. And she also said it was piggybacking and that I was trying to scam CAA she wasn't polite at all and to me her tone of voice was ignorant.

      **********************,We have investigated your concerns. A CAA Membership covers one tow per breakdown. You were taken to a safe location at the 165 kilometre point, as going the full 200 kilometres could have put you in a dangerous situation on the side of the road. There is always the possibility to pay for the extra coverage beyond 200 kilometres, which you declined. When you escalated to the Supervisor she did explain the one tow per breakdown to you and that we do not do back to back towing by using two calls for one breakdown, as did the Agent you spoke with before her. As per our Terms and Conditions, A CAA Membership does not include: Second or additional trips by a service person on any one call.
