  Horrible service. Wanted to get master business license. Everything going well. Took my credit card information. Then after charging my card they proceeded to tell me I have to open up an *** account. So paid and never reviewed my master business license. Numerous chats and none there to reply Have been dealing with this run around for awhile **** *** *******

  Hi ****, I'm sorry you had a negative experience with Ownr. Hopefully I can help clear up a few things. It is not required for Ownr users to create a bank account with RBC. However, Ownr is owned by RBC, and as such, RBC offers a monetary rebate to any Ownr users who create an RBC bank account. Ownr users can choose to redeem this rebate immediately upon purchase or after completing their registration. I can see that you opted to redeem this rebate immediately. This means that rather than paying $49 + tax for your registration, you only paid the taxes, which is why you were unable to opt out of the RBC Business Bank Account. This information is displayed on the payment page so customers can review and make an informed decision before finalizing payment. Ownr support offered to revert the discount and update your account so that you could instead pay full price and skip the bank account setup. Even without the RBC rebate, Ownr's price for a Sole Proprietorship registration ($49 + tax) is still less expensive than completing this registration directly with the Ontario Business Registry ($60). However, you opted instead to cancel your registration and receive a refund, which we provided in full. I would also like to clarify that Ownr support did respond to your inquiries, both by email and by phone call. Your first inquiry was answered in 15 minutes, with subsequent questions being addressed within two hours. Ownr supports a high volume of customers, so we are unfortunately unable to respond immediately to all inquiries, but typically respond within a few business hours. Phone calls are typically only available upon appointment but Ownr support reached out to you via phone call as a courtesy. Once again, I apologize if your experience with Ownr was subpar. However, I do want to make it clear that Ownr does not force our customers to open a business bank account with RBC, Ownr support did respond to your inquiries, and that Ownr provided a full refund for the $6.37 you spent on Ownr.   They are making me * *** *** *** ********* **** ******** ***** REPEATEDLY fill out forms I submitted to be processed over A YEAR AGO. I have rescheduled a bank appointment to open an account and take care of operations separating my business and personal spending again and again and again. I am paying my accountant and book keeper EXTRA to help me pick through and prevent an audit from the government. AT THIS POINT, they are VERY open to a lawsuit from me. THey have wasted so much of my time and money and have yet to take ownership of this issue EVEN THOUGH they have all the correctly filled out forms again...FROM OVER A YEAR AGO. At this point, this not ONLY refelcts badly on OWNR, *** ** ***** ****** ******* ***.

  I am completely disappointed with their services. Finally, I decide to start my own business, got a refer from a friend that OWNR can help me register my business. I applied late one night, after business hours as my application indicated in progress. I came back the next morning at 9am asking them to change my application from incorporated to sole proprietary. The answer came back is a NO, they can't. It took them 1.5 hrs to response to my chat WHY because they want to make sure that the application submitted so there's no turning back to amend my application. They now told me already been submitted, How? I haven't even sign any paper work or provide SIN# to apply, how are they submitting anything. I don't trust that they are doing anything to help me. (customer care is never first) This is so frustrating and un-trust worthy with disappointment to OWNR as part of the *** business. I don't know how they can run business like this not being honest to their customers. Basically, I need to cancel my service with them and take in the loss - Lesson Learn

  *********************************** They offer a "$300 refund" if you open a business account with *** once you get your business incorporated. Yup. no. Never got my refund. Been getting excuses from "we need more business days to deposit" "*** has frozen your account" all the way to them claiming it was deposited to a bank account ending in 4 digits that none of my accounts end in (all while waiting 5-20 mins for each response in chat because I didn't want to wait 1.5 weeks for a phone appointment)!! Absolutely horrible experience.

  We have confirmed that the refund was successfully deposited to your account when it was requested. Based on our follow-up conversation, I understand that you did not have access to your Business Bank Account at this time, which is why you were not familiar with the last four digits of your account number.
  
  For this reason, we recommended you get in touch with your *** representative to get access to your new account. As we said above, we had confirmed the $300 had been deposited into an account under your name and your Company name.
  
  I understand that by speaking to ***, you were able to locate the account and now have access to the $300. I apologize again for the difficulties and confusion that may have transpired during this process.
