I'm really disappointed with my experience with TD Insurance. I bought my tickets to ***** through ***** Airways last January. On the way back, there was an 11-hour delay in ****, causing me to miss all my connections and incur additional costs for the hotel, food, and other expenses. Despite sending the required documents over ten times, after six months, I was informed that I'm not eligible for reimbursement because one of the connections wasn't paid with my TD Card. They could have informed me of this back in February when I first sent the documents, saving me from wasting my time. They requested numerous documents to support my claim, only to deny it in the end. Fortunately, I've closed all my TD accounts and will never use their products again. This has been the worst experience I've ever had.Review from Asger T

After being a cutomer, for over 10 years, and never missing a payment, they cancelled my home insurance policy without telling me, but continued to charge me for it monthly for over 10 months. During that time, they even increased my premium by almost 30%. I only discovered that my policy had been cancelled when I called to ask why I hadn't receIved a policy renewal package, before having my rate increased. "Oh, actually, your policy was declined by the underwriter - 10 months ago. I have spent the last month fighting with them just to stop charging me and return the other payments. They are STILL billing me every month. TD home insurance is ********** **** will use gradual damage to escape from paying for any damages. They will send their contractor *********** to essentially dispute your claim. I have enhanced home insurance coverage with extended water damage. When I sent a claim due to heavy rainfall which was covered, they stated exclusions that I have never seen prior to purchasing the coverage. I just called for a quote and the ****** lady said I was using a tone she "did not like". Do your reps know I've been on the phone with the TD automated system for the past hour? TD, your customer service representatives are terrible, not friendly *** ****** ** ************ I have home insurance, auto insurance and she hung up. Canceled both my auto and tenent policies after their computer didn't take my pre authorized payment that I have paperwork for and authorized. Then I had to reapply for their insurance again at double the cost. I have been a customer of TD since 1994 and never had a problem till now when they went automated on most their productsReview from David T

I went online to get a Car Insurance Quote on their website. I received a quote and then proceeded to purchase the insurance online. I was then prompted to call into the service department to finish the purchase. Once I called they re-quoted a price that was 80% higher than the on-line quote. When I asked why it was so much higher, they said it was due to an issue with the on-line quoting system on their website in Quebec, and it won't be fixed until June (30 days from now). I feel that this quoting system should be shut down in Quebec if it is not producing proper quotes. ********** **** ** * ***** *** ******* ********* **** ** ******** I actually cancelled my insurance renewal with my current provider based on the quote from TD. I was expecting maybe a difference of 20% when finalizing the policy, but not 80%.Review from Sarah S

I just had a claim with td insurance. I had the worst adjuster ever. Her communication was lacking *** *** *** *** ****. I called her and her call disconnected.
