    On october 20, I verbally agreed to put down a 10% **** deposit on an item that was in stock at an appliance store. I changed my mind on the order and now I'm being told that I am stuck with the item because after our verbal agreement they found that the item was actually not in stock so they decided to order it in. They made this decision failing to inform me that ordering the item in would result my **** being charged in full and this would become a final sale. I tried to politely resolve this directly with the sales rep however he refused to listen despite the fault being clearly his. I reminded him that he told me the item was in stock, and he replied with new details that should've been communicated to me at the time (he realized the item was not in stock and needed to order it in etc). I contacted the manager and explained, and even gave him the email conversation between myself and the rep, but he hasn't got back to me. I have emails documenting the sales reps admission that he discovered the item was not in stock AFTER initially saying it was, and his subsequent failure to inform me of a full price **** charge and final sale status.     On June 16  23 I purchased a stackable ******** stackable washer and dryer and installed it on June 16, 23 for my townhouse which is in a townhouse complex. The dryer never fully heated  The report from *********** stated it was caused by low voltage/ amps. Did not make sense since I was replacing the older stackable washer and dryer Countless hours in reaching out and incurring additional costs of hiring a master electrician and having the property management electrician review the issue. The results,it was contrary to the *********** diagnoses of 200 amps too low  Erica C. was the only one who took my concern seriously After 7 months of numerous calls and emails, I received a refund Although I was told the cheque was in the mail as of Feb 22, I had to go down and pick it up personally. on March 13, 2024 I am still waiting for the arrival cheque in the mail. * ***** ** ***** ** **** ********** *** ********* * ** ********* ****** *** ****** ** *** ********* **** ******* *** ***** * ***** **** ******* *** *** **** *** **** ****** ** **** ** *** ********* ** ********** *** **** *** ********** ** *** ************* **** ******* ********* *** *** **** *** ****** ** *** ****** ** ** *** **** ******* **** ** ******* *** ** ******* ** ****** **** ** * ***** **** *** ******** ****** For a family business, I am very disappointed with the length of time it took to resolve this matter. In my opinion, they are there for the sale but afterward, you are on your own
