This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
The scammer used a fraudulent website, Rarebreedfrttriggers.us.com, that shares a nearly identical web address to the real vendor, Rarebreedtriggers.com. The scam website only allows private payments from Apple Pay, Zelle, Chime, or Crypto exchange. Payment was not processed on the website, but rather, the scammer reached out for payment via text message after the order was placed. The CEO of Rare Breed Triggers made a video on the official website warning of these scam web addresses and listed Rarebreedfrttriggers.us.com as a Fraudulent website.
