This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Person called saying that my Metallicus crypto account had been compromised and that I need to move money to Trust Wallet and WebAuth Wallet. I did not give out my passwords or information. They had it all. I moved cryptocurrency over to the Trust Wallet and the WebAuth Wallet on 12/30/2025 and then at about 12:15 am on 12/31/2025 all the funds had been transferred out of my account, which i did not authorize or approve.
