I engaged Birch lending in a loan for $1200 in August 2024. The application indicated an interest rate in the 20% range, with monthly payments of $321.36, at which point I have been making repayments through direct ***'s. Some months they charged me twice. I got a notice for a payment due in November, so wanted to check my payment history. I tried to log in and I had to reset my password. Once got logged in, I could not see my payment history, the only thing I could see was a loan document that showed my interest rate of over 600%, and a payoff amount of over $1200 (even though I have been making payments since April). To date I have paid them $2570.88 (double the amount of the loan). When I called I requested a copy of my loan terms, as well as payment history. I requested that they close my account as I have already paid them back 2x the amount borrowed. They have rejected unless I paid the Pay-off amount of $1290.28 (more than the original loan amount). However, now I can no longer log into my account to see anything. The are falsely advertising interest rates, loan and repayment terms. I have filled a claim with my bank to reject future EFT payments. Please help report them for horrific business practices, false advertising and customer service.

Fake loan-scammers.They emailed me saying I was approved for a loan that I never applied for in the first place and also I have never even heard of this business. Then sent an email to e-sign and submit. I never signed anything. Then I get an email with payment schedule. I have never had any contact with this business. I didnt respond to any email, phone call or text from them. Now, I have a debt collecting company (Global Citizen) contacting me for payment on this fake loan. This is fraud! Authorities need to get involved.

Birch lending offers "low interest" loans to those in dire circumstances. Not only do they not specify to avoid paying exorbitant monthly fees that can pay off the loan whenever you want, but a $200 loan needs to be paid back in 10 monthly installments totaling up to over $1,000.Birch lending is purposely using sneaking advertising and loaded words to lure in unsuspecting victims. On top of all of this, this site is advertised on gambling sites, on app store ads, and, in my case, on games that many children play.Any business that operates in this way needs to be shut down.

I took out a personal loan through an ******** recommended loan company, birch lending. On my loan application, I listed that I get paid the 18th. Im requesting a $100 credit to my loan repayment amount because I could not access my account to pay in full today, 11/19/24. I requested this to them directly and they refused while also not allowing me to enter my account I went to log into my loan account today, the 19th, to pay the loan off in full due to the extremely high interest rate. The website would not allow me to login. I reset my password multiple times, used multiple browsers, and I tried to call the phone number and the representative told me I couldnt login today. I requested one Day of interest be credited back to me due to not being able to log into my account, and they would not agree to it and would not allow me to enter my account. They also requested that I provide an additional personal details not relevant to the loan, including an additional email. So my loan repayment will be more than it wouldve been if I couldve access my account. I recorded the entire interaction as well as the entire process of me logging in. Everything they said, and would not do is fully documented. I did not say I would not pay it, I simply asked for one day credit since they are keeping me from my account and there is nothing on the website showing that there are technical issues. The difference in paying this loan back today and tomorrow is between 50 and $100 and they refused to credit me that but also wont allow me to access my account to pay the loan off in full, which means it will be a higher amount when I do finally ever have access I also recorded the phone conversation in which the agent told me I couldnt access my account and there was nothing they would do. I cannot upload the conversation here but I informed her repeatedly that I was recording

I like many others did not see the payments that are going to be made . I saw the amount that they would give me and clicked submit thinking that's where I would see the interest rate and agree or disagree with it then. This is not the case. I got a $2350 loan that I didn't want nor need and now they are charging me $471 every 2 weeks. I don't know how to get out of this, I cannot pay that, They didn't disclose this before agreement.

I borrowed $500 from Birch Lending and I have made ten payments at $133. It adds up to $1330.00. My account should be done and paid off. They should not pull anymore from my account.

I initially took out a short-term loan with Birch Lending in February 2024. I have taken out a total of two loans with this company. My first loan was for $1,000 and I ended up paying $2,273.98 back. I took out a second loan in August 2024 for $2,000 and as of today, I have already paid $2,141.76. My partner unexpectedly lost his job and I cannot keep affording to pay this ridiculous rate. When I checked my account today, my pay off amount was $1,976.59. That means that out of the $2,141.76 I've already paid, ONLY $23.41 has gone to the principle. This is absurd! I have already paid $1,415.74 in interest to this company. There is no way to escape this, which is just what companies like this want. The APR is well above the maximum allowed in the state of ******** and they are not a licensed lender. I have paid off this loan plus interest and I am requesting that my account be considered paid and closed so that I can focus on surviving my partner's unemployment. Please beware of this predatory lender!!!

Over the phone conversation and agreement, turns out to be higher Apr interest rate and payback is 10x than loan amount, if knowing I had to payback ***** just to get a loan for 1200, I would of never bothered, scamming at its finest. They never mention the Apr interest or payback.

08/30/2024 This is illegal. They loan interest rate. They are ripping off below poverty families that are trying to get ahead. I cannot afford this. I did not know they would be automatically taking out 70.14$ every week out of my account

This company is a scam company. I never signed any contract and never seen any contract. They took 2 payments out of my account equaling $650 dollars. My entire loan was only for $1200. I called to pay it off after 2 payments and my principal balance decreased by only $3. They were charging me over 600% interest. This company needs to be shut down is most likely illegal, especially because I never even seen a contract and definitely never signed anything. So it cost me $650 to get a $1200 loan. I want my money back that was basically thrown in the garbage.
