    I took my car for an oil change and recall September 29th 2023. The next day the car had problems and the day after it would not start. I called when they opened the following Monday expecting an easy conversation and fix. I was told they would take no ownership. They would look at it for free but no way did they cause anything and I would have to pay them to fix it. My car ran great before taking it in. I am now forced to pay another mechanic to fix what they messed up. This free recall is costing me so much time and money. They refuse to make it right and could care less of damaging others property.

    We offered to check, review and repair the associated malfunction from the recall work.  We were told that the work would not be allowed unless all other issues to the vehicle were addressed, but unfortunately are not associated with the recall.  Simply put, we will not repair items not caused by us.

    I would have taken my vehicle to be looked at and fixed there if they offered that.  I was told they could look at it and give me a price to fix it but, no way are they taking any blame to fix what they had messed up.  They refused to acknowledge any possibility that my car ran great and then had problems after they performed work.  Since I was told they would not take ownership I brought to my own mechanic instead of allowing them to mess things up further.  Its clear the business does not care they made their customer pay elsewhere to fix what they broke.

    Clearly the business does not have any integrity.  They damaged my vehicle and refused to acknowledge any fault of their own despite saying the complete opposite when replying to my review that is seen by the public.  I am fine with closing this out since from last response they continue to not take any accountability.  I would like this to remain on file as unresolved complaint as caution from others doing business here.

    On 17 April 2023, I purchased a new 2023 Platinum edition Pathfinder Platinum from Team 1 Nissan of Albertville AL. A summary of my complaint follows: Upon removal of the Team 1 Nissan temporary drive away license plate (which was installed guerrilla tight) to install my permanent AL license plate, I noticed 360 degrees circular cuts from the metal clamps around the s**** holes which holds the license plate in place. The bumper finisher material where the tag s**** holes are anchored appears to be a plastic composite material. So it is likely that when Team1Nissan put on the temp tag the metal clamps cut the plastic. I took my Pathfinder by another Nissan dealership ***************************** and they verified that the wrong screws were used to put on the temp tag (something other than machine screws). *******' recommended "Due to the cuts found on the insert (because of the wrong screws being installed), recommend replacement of that insert" (Bumper Finisher). Because the incorrect screws were used, a lot of force was needed to anchor each s**** in place. This caused the metal clamp to cut into the surrounding plastic composite. I notified Team1Nissan about this on 19 April 2023. Afterwards I made several phone calls, emails and text trying to find out the path ahead to resolve my problem which will probably be the Bumper Finisher replacement. They have been terrible about returning any form of communications. Still NO path ahead from Team1Nissan. Their lack of communications leads me to believe they are hopping I will just go away. Absolutely terrible customer service!

    Better Business Bureau:

    I meet with Team One Nissan of Albertville on 5/31/23.  They indicated that they would replace my rear window glass on the Pathfinder and the bumper finisher.  Parts are on order and should be installed by the middle of June 2023. Assuming parts arrive and installed properly, I find the response/resolution made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** satisfactory to me.
