House originally ordered September of 2021. ***** delivered over a year later that is not the complaint. Since mid January of 2023 I have sent 4 email with no response as to the home being finished. This House has been sitting for over 5 months with roof issues,insulation issues, roof missing chunks of wood with bare shingles on it insulation completely ripped apart. ***** work unfinished with 20 plus stones just laying in the floor for the fireplace and bathrooms. A window that cannot even be closed. Now let's look at these as minor problems. My kitchen does not have any ventilation connected. It gets better my fireplace vents to the attic yes I said to the attic no piping or nothing if I had not climbed up in this attic and inspected myself and had a made a fire it would have burnt my whole house down possibly resulting in the death of my entire family. Maybe this company doesn't give a s*** about people lives. And there middle man C&G in Lake city gives even less s***Business Response

We have worked on the home and completed all with the exception of some bottom board tears that we will go back and check. We researched and repaired all other items.
We will schedule the other repairs ASAP>

Good afternoon, Deer Valley does not install Drain Lines on sight its completed on sight by others. This is done either by retailer contractor or the consumer contracts this work out to connect to their sewer lines. However, Deer Valley heard about the issue today and we have scheduled a Service Technician to call ************* to schedule repair. Do not ever purchase a Deer Valley Moblie Home unless you're ready for a stressful process that never ends! We signed papers on this home in October of 21 and finally received the home on our property in September of 22. We were finally able to move into it in December of 22. We walked through the home it was unbelievable. My husband and I were in disbelief. We could not believe the shape this home was in and how it was even capable of leaving the factory. They ask you to send a repair list before they ever come to inspect it. The majority of our repair list has yet to be fixed (ceiling, drywall, floor, roof, etc.) They "repaired" what they wanted to and that's it!! Our drywall has lumps and bumps all over the place. The drywall isn't they only thing with lumps and bumps. Our floors also have them! We paid extra for smooth ceilings and there are streaks everywhere on it. The paint and trim work is a sloppy mess. The trim doesn't even meet together in some places and they've filled the large cracks in with caulk. The most irritating and biggest issue and stressor of all is our roof! We paid extra for a high pitched roof. The roof they installed literally looks as if it's 50 years old. It is so wavey and has ripples. To look at it almost make you sea sick! It's totally unacceptable. I just don't understand how someone is supposed to come do a job we've paid our hard earned money for and they do a half ****, c*** job and are not being held accountable to fix it! They are saying the roof is not covered under any warranty. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If we had it to do over again, we would not have purchased this home!! Please stay away from this company and save your self a lot of stress and heartache. We paid a great deal of money for this home. One would think they would want to satisfy their customers and give them the quality of business that they initially advertised. Deer Valley has worked on this Home after the Retailer trimmed the Home. Deer Valley had a rewrite to replace a couple of Cabinet Doors and we have requested pictures from due to the customer saying they are more to be addressed. There is Warranty on the Roof if there is a deflection that would cause the Home to leak. Deer Valley will send another crew that will look at the roof to see if said deflection exists. The first crew said there was not a structural defect and that the roof was well within industry tolerances. ********************* will call ****************** and go over his complaint today.

Since we moved in, January 2022 we have had an issue with the **** unit, the air only blows on one side of the house, after 6 months they came out to look at the issue, found the issue, it was made wrong from the factory in the **** duct system, the gentleman put the unit back together and left said would be back to fix it, 4 months later we are still dealing with the situation, except since it turned cold and we turn the heating unit on and it popped the breaker, reset the breaker and nothing happened, there is also a breaker in the a/c unit panel so I reset it and when I did it shot a flame out roughly ***** inches and it blew the lights out in the laundry room, which were working before and not directly connected to the **** system wiring, so it turned hot again today 10/21/2022, turned the a/c on and it will not work either. I have made several reports to Deer Valley about the situation, all with only promises to come out and repair. Also we have lights inside the house that blink at times, figure it all has to do with the electrical issue in this house. All has been reported to no avail. At this point WE do not feel safe in the house with the electrical issues that are going on, I feel this is going to be an on going issue for the life of the mobile home, I would like for the house to be replaced since every effort on our part has been made and our patience as is our warranty is almost out. Forgot to mention when the house was first put together, half of the house had no electricity, that has been repaired but seems there are more electrical issue hidden behind the walls, floor and attic. It is now hard to trust this company to stand behind the factory warranty since they have pushed us off until our warranty is almost out, Even after if they repair the houses electrical system our warranty will be out if anything with the electrical- and **** system has issues. Our home was delivered in October 2021 and we went through the set up process set up by Deer Valley and our retailer. Within a couple of months we started noticing many problems, some cosmetic and other concerning the construction. Over the months and many emails crews were sent to fix the problems a few at a time. Unfortunately the **** system was the worst and no one was ever sent. This past winter our bill was over $400 trying to keep the house warm. Finally someone was sent out to look at the system and after several days of work we were told there were many problems with the duct work installation. The repair person said he thought he fixed it all, but to contact him if we still had problems. Within in hours we noticed we were still having problems keeping the rooms close to the same temperature. Currently the thermostat is set at 75 for A/C, most rooms are 74 and the master bedroom is 78. We tried to contact the repair person several times and never received a reply. After a week, I tried contacting Deer Valley and no response. I emailed the person (*******************) that was suppose to be responsible for setting up the repairs, and also added ********************* to all my emails. On June 3 I was told that they would get someone on it. I contacted them again on August 3 and told them we are still having the problem and no one has contacted me for repairs. It is obvious that Deer Valley has no intention of honoring their warranty. Please help!Business Response

We are very sorry for the delay. We have had the order with our third party air expert ************************* for several months. ***** had some issues come up from a spider bite that had left him unable to work. He will hopefully be back in a couple of weeks and will get this issue resolved. We have not forgotten about this problem nor do we intend to leave it without some type of resolution. We sincerely apologize that we have not communicated the delays better. We willl reach out to ***** today and have him get in touch with you as soon as possible.

I am rejecting this response because: These excuses are the same ones we have been getting for many months (since the winter). Still no one from Deer Valley contacts us and still no one shows up to fix the problems. Before I filed this complaint I emailed them twice in the past moth to get an update on when the repairs were going to be made and still no one has contacted me or shown up.If they repair/replace the **** system so that it work properly, then I will be wiling to close this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: They are changing their story again. The last HV** person they sent said the problems we are having is due to the duct work being wrong size and even not connected. The ** outside unit was installed by the dealer, but the duct work and the heating unit was installed by Deer Valley. We have been complaining about the heat last winter when my heating bill was over $300.00They called us and said they were trying to reach the "only" HAVC person they had but he had been ill and they haven't been able to reach him. We have also tried to reach him, but there has been no response.
I suggest they get more than one HV** repair person and/or send someone from the factory. Maybe even a QC person should come and look at the sloppy work through out this home.
I doubt any of the management or QC would live in a home where the HV** doesn't work properly.

I am rejecting this response because: They have been reaching out to him for months. He did finally call us (They only have 1 person to do HVAC repairs in the whole south). He is currently in ******** and won't be back until after September 15 and will TRY to schedule us after that date.One would think a company this large and with so many problems with their homes they would hire more repair persons.
Until our HVAC (this includes heating and A/C) is working property I do not intend to release this complaint. I feel certain based on complaints of other owners that Deer Valley plans to drag this out until the 1 year warranty is up and then say they are not responsible.

We purchased our home from deer valley at the end of 2020. It was moved into the location in early 2021. And we were finally able to move in during the spring of 2021. Upon inspection to take the property we noticed several items that did not meet standards and still needed fixed. One of these was the heating and air. Since that time we’ve had the actual heat and air company out, as well as contracted workers for deer valley. No one can give a reason as to why our house does not heat and cool properly. We were told by one guy that during the setting together of the house that it is likely some ducts got clamped. We were told there is a guy out of Houston who specializes in finding these issues and that they could send him. This was many many months ago. We’ve reached out to the guy (josh Lucas) over our area and he no longer responds. Meanwhile we are having to run fans all through the house to maintain 85 degrees inside during these 115 heat index days. And that’s with the ac also running and set to 73. Our electric bill is running extremely high because the ac never shuts off. The far ends of our house are hot with no circulation, and the center is mildly comfortable with a ceiling fan on. This winter it was the opposite, freezing on the ends and decent in the center. Basically, We have a new home that we can’t enjoy. We do not invite guest over because no one wants to sweat while visiting. Cooking in the evening is a no go because it takes too long to get the house cooled down after. We were impressed with the designs and what appeared to be quality work with the deer valley homes. However, the service we’ve received (minus a few really hard workers that we’ve appreciated) makes us wish we had chosen another company. All we want is to be able to enjoy the home we purchased. To live in it comfortably. And to feel like we haven’t been taken advantage of. We have yet to completely sign off on this house, because of ac issues. Please help resolve this.Business Response

My husband and I put a down payment on our home in July 2021. It was a lot model. The home was finally delivered in March 2022. There are several issues with the home such as pot lights hanging out of the ceiling, cabinet doors and drawers that do not shut properly, damaged molding, rocking toilet, damaged siding, chunks ripped out of wood posts, etc. To date, there has been no remedy to these issues. It will be a year next month since we paid the down payment on this home. This is ridiculous.Business Response
