I began seeing ************** at Millar Chiropractic on January 3, 2023. He told me in his initial visit that he would only be at the clinic until the end of January, he was opening his own clinic. He said that I was welcome to follow him or stay at this clinic. When I checked out I was encouraged by staff to purchase a package that would normally cost $1800, but if I paid up front I would only be charged $1500, thus saving $300. When I said that ************** was leaving and what if I decided I wanted to follow him to his new practice I was told they would refund my remaining balance. I paid for this at the beginning of my second appointment and was very surprised when I owed $80 for the visit. I was then told that the $1500 was for experimental treatment and insurance would not cover this. ************** ended up leaving the clinic earlier than expected and Dr. **** began working there on January 23, 2023. My first visit with Dr. **** went ok on January 23rd, Dr. ********************** was present. I saw Dr. **** on the 24th and 25th was not happy. He was very social and unprofessional, kept me waiting in the treatment room during the next 2 appointments even though the office was very slow. I had traction and felt numbness in my leg and it was very painful. On Thursday, January 26, 2023 I began physical therapy and began to see improvement in my pain and knew that strengthening muscles would improve my quality of life. I did not see benefit in my treatment and was not happy with the new doctor. When I spoke with ******* requesting a refund, she said that Dr. ********************** would have to approve it. He called and left a message and asked me to call him on his personal phone to get information about how I was treated. I have called Dr. ********************** many times. He does not answer his phone. One time he texted me back and said he would return my call, but he did not. He does not have voice mail to leave a message. I am very displeased.
