On December 8, 2021, I met the owner of T's Treasures at I-65 South/ Highway 14 in Prattville AL and gave her the keys to my mother's residence at *** **** ******* **, ****** AL. I am my mother's legal guardian and she resides with me. Mrs. ****** was going down to prepare for an estate sale on December 17th and 18th. Mrs. ****** stayed in touch with me during the sale and once it was over, I did not hear from her until December 22nd. I called and texted her several times before i received a reply. We discussed having another sale around January 3rd, 2022. She stated that she had left her tables there to have another sale and was going to check the weather for those dates. I reached out to her numerous times by phone call and text message over the next several weeks with no response. Also, on December 22nd, ****** stated to me by phone that she only took in $******* and told me that she sold the following items: a king and queen sized bed with dressers, a washing machine and clothes dryer, She did not tell me that she sold the refrigerator out of the home, nor did she tell me that she also sold a hot water heater that had never been opened and was sealed in the box. I attempted to call Mrs. ****** again after several days of not trying. ****** answered the phone and stated that she was in the hospital, and was being discharged as we spoke. I asked her how she was feeling and the stated to me, :Obviously, you did not receive a phone call." I told her that No I did not". She apologized and as if she could call me back later that afternoon. I said yes but she never called until I reported her to the local police on January 27th. I am still waiting on the ****** Police Department to bring charges and today is April 15th. ****** was in charge of selling my mothers belongings and was supposed to take 30 % of the proceeds as we agreed. She either kept the money or stole the furnishings out of the home and now refuses to pay my mother.
