This complaint is in reference to the horrible customer service, misleading delivery estimates, and failure to produce products in accordance with agreed upon order proofs. Our company submitted three separate orders for this business for custom printed t-shirts. Order numbers are ******* placed 8-18-23 with an estimated delivery date of 9-10-23, ******* placed 8-23-23 with an estimated delivery date of 9-14-23, and ******* placed 8-24-23 with an estimated delivery date of ****-23. Order ******* experienced numerous delays during the proof process, as the proofs provided inaccurate print colors (proofing utilized internationally recognized colors from Pantone). When we finally settled on a color, we expected the orders to be printed as shown on the proofs. The order then sat for several weeks before entering production, and once it finally was completed, it was delivered but just a few days late. However, the print colors were not as agreed upon on our proof, and did not follow the Pantone colors as shown on the proof. The lighter color of print, which as to be a pale beige/off white, was a very bright white when it arrived, and ruined the design. The company made no effort to custom match the ink color as shown on the proof. Order ******* was also delayed in production, but is in transit and should arrive only a couple of days late. The problem order is *******, for which the company will not give an accurate delivery date, and on 9-14-23, the representative who finally called me back, stated the or may be done between **** and ****, but they really "didn't know". This was just a week after a different rep promised us that they order would be complete no later than ****. The customer service is very difficult to get ahold of; they have only answered the phone 2 times out of the 15+ times I have had to call and the voicemail box is frequently full. When they do call back, several days after leaving a message, the phone system is so bad you cannot hear what they say.Customer response

Hello. After filing this complaint, the business has contacted us and resolved the complaint to our satisfaction. The owner/manager reached out to us personally and offered and acceptable resolution and answered our questions and compensated us for the issue experienced. While the business appears to remain somewhat short staffed (as is an issue for many employers), they did what was needed to help right this situation. My husband placed an order with them over 3 months ago. We have been given endless "your order will ship by XX/XX/XXXX" dates. Within the last 2 weeks we received 2 boxes of our 100 shirt order. Still missing many shirts. we have both been contacting them daily and they just give us more bs dates that we will get the remainder of the order. We are now 2 days away from out event that these shirts were for and we still don't have them all or even tracking for them. Looking at other reviews on this company around the internet, there are MANY people having the same issue. I don't know what to do, so i thought maybe id try filing a claim here.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for 150 shirts on March 21, 2023 and it wasn't delivered until May 25, 2023 Over 2 months later. I was told the order would be 3-4 weeks tops for fulfillment. They never answered the phone and were barely responsive through emails. Once the order was delivered I noticed that they hadn't sent the prints with the approved revisions that I signed off on to print and the order was missing a whole color size (Large ***** Shirts) When I called they only offered a partial refund of 15% which after everything I went through was unacceptable. They then agreed to replace the order only to never fulfill the order or respond to my email and phone calls. I would like a full refund or a full replacement order shipped out immediately as agreed upon. I have attached the invoice, documentation of the date of purchase to delivery, and email correspondence of the company confirming they would ship out a replacement order for their mistake.Initial Complaint

I ordered screen printed shirts from this company and I can not get them to respond to emails or answer my calls in a reasonable time. I am still waiting on artwork approval from an order I purchased on May 12th and was told I could get the order delivered by June10th which is now not achievable. Ive only received a couple of emails from them but I cant get them to respond to our last conversation about artwork approval and now I call and it goes to voicemail so they are no longer answering my calls or emails. I would just like my money back for terrible customer service.Initial Complaint

I had made my original order on September 8th. I order 6 different color shirts, 3 with white print & 3 with black print. After having issues with a shipping date I finally received my order to find completely wrong. The placement was wrong (partially my fault) and I got 5 shirts with black print & 1 with white print. ******* (manager) got involved and we got the placement issue fixed so they were going to reprint my original order at discounted price. After yet another issue with shipping dates I finally received the 2nd order. STILL no white print on shirts! And they didn't even ship one of the colors! They were only supposed to fix the placement, all of the other details were to remain unchanged. So now I paid twice and still do not have my 3 colors of shirts that were supposed to have white print. All I'm asking for is those shirts with the white print. After I receive those I will forget 5 boys exists and never do business with them again.Initial Complaint

On August 19th, I ordered 130 shirts from 5 Boys Apparel. It said I would have a design proof in 3-4 days. I reached out after a few weeks and they sent me a proof. They then confirmed my order would be here by Sept 19th. Sept 19th comes around and hadnt heard anything. On Sept 20th they responded the order was going out and they would overnight it so I would have it for my event. The 21st happens, no box, no response to messages, the 22nd happens and no box and no message. *** and Fed Ex have come with no packages for the 23rd. Still no response from them. Online there are a ton of people who are waiting for products. Not sure if this is a scam company? Total $633.78Initial Complaint

- On June 15, 2021 I contacted ***** ******, a Sales Representative for 5 Boys Production to receive a quote for Custom T-Shirts. After additional coordination I paid $1,044.57 on July 15th, 2021. - On July 29th, 2021 I received 48 of the 96 shirts I ordered and 34 were poor quality or damaged and not in an appropriate condition and contacted ****. - On August 13th, 2021 **** responded stating they were going to redo everything and resend it out to me by the end of the next week. - On August 17th, 2021, ***** responded that they should have the shirts out to me by the end of the week or the latest Monday. - On August 24th, 2021 I followed up to ask if they were able to get the items shipped and requested a refund if they had not been able to. - Having never received the shirts nor the tracking information I followed up with ***** on November 4th, 2021 requesting that they refund me for the damaged items that were returned along with the shirts I never received. - When I no longer received communications from *****, I disputed the entire transaction with my Bank on November 8th. In a last attempt to resolve this amicable, I followed up regarding the refund on November 11th, 2021 with *****. - On November, 11th, 2021 **** ******, responded stating they were unable to do anything while charges are disputed, and under review. On November 16th, **** followed up with a shipping label so I could return all of the shirts so we could get the issue closed. - On December 14th, 2021 I returned the items. - On January 25th, 2022, there was a reversal of the funds to 5 Boys Production - On May 11th, ***** responded that **** would need about 3-5 days to look into this - I Sent follow up emails requesting a status update on the following dates and have not received a response. May 11, 2022 May 31, 2022 Jun 10, 2022 Jun 15, 2022 Jun 23, 2022 Jul 1, 2022 Jul 10, 2022 Jul 22, 2022 Aug 19, 2022 I just want my funds to be refunded.
