March 7, 2022 Unlicensed builder was charged with engaging in the practice of residential home building without holding a current and valid home builders license as required by Ala. Code § 34-14A-5,14 (1975). The unlicensed builder pled guilty and received 180 days suspended sentence and 24 months probation. The builder was ordered to pay $3,150.00 restitution to the homeowner.
