  BEWARE if you are considering renting from Beachball Properties! We rented a cottage in the ********** Resort in ******************************** for 7 nights (it was just a few minute walk to the beach, had a private pool, and 2 bedrooms). We rented for the private pool with shade for our daughter who has severe ****** and her meds require her to be in the shade. It unfortunately flooded due to a water line break our third day there (Saturday) Beachball told us their ONLY available place was the ************ (3 bedroom, no pool, no beach access, on the bay). They said this was an upgrade and would only give us $139 refund even though this upgrade rents for $1,000 less a week. We accepted this as emergency shelter that night and had asked upper management call us back the next day, but since Easter was the next day we had to wait until Monday before anyone that could do anything would call us back. When we finally got ahold of upper management they offered the $139 refund plus another $140ish, we asked to speak to someone higher than that. We spoke with someone who was higher up because we had found when looking at their website that they had other properties but that were of higher quality that they just didnt want to give us. They said they could only give us equal or lesser quality even though we were put out on our vacation and spent several hours packing, moving and had items damaged in the flood. He said hed call us back with what he could offer us. It was $139 plus $417.70 which doesnt really cover the cost of the difference between the two places. IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS REFUND, we would have had to sign an agreement saying we would not post negative reviews on the properties, their website, ****** or *********

  I don't even give them 1 star! They mistreat their employees at their whim, know that those employees keep the properties up. And they add insult to injury by ******* and libel. Don't fall for that family bs! ****** and gingers family is the ONLY one that matters!

  Rented Beachball Properties beachfront condo late May 2023.Unit itself was okay. Its location and beach view are as advertised.But beware:A) ************ made total cost 165% of quoted cost per night.B) I reserved in Feb. Starting receiving texts in Feb to download app and send my email address to Beachball Properties so they can send checkin instructions the day prior to checkin. I called Beachball, explained I would not have access to a computer days prior to checkin. They offered to text instructions the day before checkin. I continued to receive several more texts through the months and more the day prior to checkin asking me to send my email address. Called their office multiple times the day prior, spoke with staff...never did get instructions by text. Got staff at my hotel to access my email and print instructions. No wonder they didn't text, the Instructions were a long list of renter's responsibilities and informed me that I would have one of each consumable (including 1 roll of toilet paper), when that runs out, you're on your own, no matter how long the stay. This is info that could have been sent back in February. In fact, it should be highlited on their AirBNB listings.C) Even with a $350 cleaning fee, the master bath smelled of urine.

  Rented property that had flying termites and other insects in kitchen. Was told they dont control MOTHER NATURE. Also, unhealthy odor and dirty sofa. Ceiling fans and opened deck door to allow better circulation did not help. They wanted to send cleaning crew while we were there which is to happen before client arrival. Not enough clean towels for the week and told to do laundry. Other issues but Beachball Properties had an excuse for every one and basically wrote ** off and refused refund for remaining days. No hospitality skills or accommodation to complete our stay was offered. Our first impression of ******* was erased as we will never vacation here again.

  ***********, ** - Rented a condo at ********************** 03/23. We were never informed that the property was under construction. We showed up after 4pm on Sunday and discovered the property under full construction. On Monday at 7am the construction crew were on site, started their equipment and were yelling across the construction site. No way to sleep with that going on. This was every day during our stay, the crews were on site Saturday and Sunday. The parking was very limited for the existing twenty-one condo's, the construction crew were using most of the parking during the day so it was extremely difficult to find parking during the day. On several occasions we were unable to access the parking because the construction contractor decided to block the only access into the parking area. The pool was un-useable because the construction contractor blocked the pool off for several days and when the pool was not blocked off it was full of construction debriis. We called Beachball property management to lodge a complaint, we got the answering service and were told that someone would return our call. We called several times over the next couple of days. To no avail we never received a call back. Once this company gets your money they do not care if you are having issues you are on your own. At minimum Beachball should give us money back on the condo we rented for the week. They failed to inform us before we rented this property that there was construction and the construction will be on going into ****. We will not use this company again!! If we could give 0 stars that would be our rating of this company.

  Rented a property from Beachball Properties and VRBO for 2 months.Very unhappy with condition of home. I tried to copy and paste letter sent to them but not enough room here on BBB. is there an alternative place to send my letter?Beachball Properties blocked my email. Sent same letter via a different email address with no response back. Also reseved a response back from VRBO stating the case is closed. Never even got to talk to them.Seems if you have issues or a complaint with a property, they block youi and don't want to deal with it.i would very much like an alternative BBB place to send my email to Beachball Properties.Thank youi

  Weve done business with Beachball Properties for several years. They have consistently provided excellent services. Feedback from people we have referred to them is outstanding. They not only have a great understanding of personalized services but they actually follow through with excellent customer care. A real live person answers their telephone 24/7 and handles any concerns/questions immediately.
