I was looking at different meal plans online, one of those being eMeals. As with most other meal plans, you have to enter credit card info, etc. before seeing what meals they are offering and the cost. When I saw that eMeals was for recipes and grocery list only, I moved on. I have over ************************************************************************************* their service.I received nothing from them saying I had a trial membership, nothing in an email, nothing by regular mail. Nothing. Then I happened to check my checking account and they had taken $64.94 out of it. I immediately sent them an email saying stop, dont ship, I didnt sign up for this. I received an email back from them saying they dont do refunds, that I had a trial period (??) and did not cancel before it was over so I had to pay for a years service. I feel like my checking account was used without my knowledge and authorization for a product I have absolutely no use for. I would NEVER sign up for this service because I have no use for it. If this how they have to make money then maybe they shouldnt be in business.Business Response

I signed up for the 14 day free trial. I had today's date to cancel my subscription. I tried several times to cancel but have received no confirmation. On top of it they charged my credit card $105.98! I did not agree to pay this. There is no way to talk to anyone. I've found a number that when you call it tells you to email. I would like refund and my trial canceled.Business Response

I was charged this morning, April 13th 2025 after having cancelled my account last year with no complaint even though this service has not been used by me. I was charged again. I had cancelled the way they tell you last time via link without an email sent showing you cancelled.Upon canceling again this morning (knowing I did previous) no email was received again. Have reported to them with no response as of yet. It seems to be a recurring issue with this company and hidden charges for many many customers years later.Business Response

I participated in a 14 day trial and cancelled before the 14 days and I was charged $64.94 on April 3, 2025. The only way to try contacting this company is by a "service ticket". There is no email or phone number to allow you to contact a live person.Business Response

I had marked in my calendar that I had till today to unsubscribe from my trial subscription to not be charged. Today I was charged and this morning I contacted them to have my money refunded and they said there was nothing they could do. Seems unfair that I have to pay $100 for them misleading me into paying for a year subscription.Business Response

I have been a subscriber for several years, with an annual subscription. I did fail to cancel for the new year in time, as I had down in my calendar that I needed to cancel on March 15. Apparently I had to cancel by March 14. I got no email reminder. When I saw that my subscription was renewed, and my ****** charged, at 1:39 am, I contacted them that same day. They said they were unable to refund my money. This seems unfair with no warning and no time on when I had to cancel by.Business Response

I thought I had canceled this last year after receiving the unwanted annual charge. When I saw it happen again on 2/22/25 I canceled, requested a refund, and was denied. This is pretty horrible service for a company I have been with for years and considered revisiting when I had more funds available. Now I know they are purposefully not following best practice to notify ahead of an annual subscription renewal. All other companies I have services with provide notification or at least a prorated refund on request.Business Response

I've been charged $110.48 for this service but I do not use it and I'm not really sure what the service is. There is no activity on this account and I do not recall actively signing up. Customer opted for the 14 day free trial and agreed to be charged with a no refund policy if the trial was not canceled prior to the end of the trial period. As of today, the account has yet to be canceled, even thought the customer was sent the cancel link. She did not contact us to cancel until almost a month and a half after the charge. I signed up for the E-Meals plan and used it a few times over the few years we were members. However, we haven't utilized the service recently due to a decline in the quality of offerings. Additionally, comparable AI assistants now offer similar services. The plan has also become increasingly expensive for the limited benefits provided.When we signed up, we agreed to a recurring charge as with most membership service. Unfortunately, unlike other memberships with other companies, this company does not offer a prorated contract or refund policy for unused service periods. Once charged, cancellations are not permitted during the paid period, and there is no option for a prorated ********* membership renewed on 2/2/25, and I promptly emailed the company requesting an immediate cancellation (on 2/2/25) and a refund for the unused upcoming services. On 2/4, I received a response stating that my membership would remain active until 2/2/26, and no refund would be issued. Despite my intention not to use the service any longer, the company refused to honor my request.**Warning:** Do not sign up for this service as they are not a customer-friendly business. They lack regard for customer satisfaction. Reviews consistently reflect poor ratings and excuses from the company for subpar service.Given this experience, I strongly advise against using E-Meals. Many other companies provide similar services with better customer support and satisfaction.Business Response
