I experienced poor built quality and worst warranty service. I am surprised this builder charge premium for their house. Details: One month after closing the house there was water leak from rain. It took 2 attempts and 30 days to fix. I had to protect floor all these period. There was one other water leak which again took 2 attempts to fix as they could not locate it in roof at first attempt . Most of the neighborhood houses who opted a specific wood floor type worn off very fast within 3 to 4 month of purchasing the house. Buffington chose to stop that Wood floor for all of its future houses after the complain. But even though we reported this problem within warranty period (within few weeks of closing), builder was unwilling to properly replace that for all impacted area citing “inappropriate customer usage “ and “normal wear and tear” though all other wood types in same neighborhood is perfectly fine . It is very surprising that exact same wood floor type of all the houses has same issue but can be attributed to usage. Overall the customer service and the quality is terrible especially for the premium that’s charged for the house.
