      They don't pick up trash when they are supposed to, and customer service is a joke nothing gets done and they don't do what they say they will.

      This recycling company is a joke. They don’t pick up when they say they will. They charge 3 months in advance. This is the worst trash service I’ve ever had in Pittsburg. You can’t get a hold of anyone to talk to them.

      I have been a customer of Cards Recycling since I bought my house last spring. I signed up with Cards. Even though I didn’t move into my house until this year (2024). I paid Cards regularly, yet they removed my garbage can from my house without any notice to me. When I called and questioned this problem, it took almost 3 weeks before I had them return a trash can. I have paid on time each month, but they don’t seem to consider it their job to pick up my garbage on the Tuesday of each week. In fact, half of the time I don’t even know when they will show up, and when I call to complain, they still take days to show up. Then, this past June, they charged their customers an extra $75, with no actual reason for the charge. It's not like they actually do their job on time. I believe they knew there was going to be an exodus from their company because there have been so many complaints to the City of Pittsburg. Not only that, I tried to cancel my agreement, but they wouldn’t let me. So even though I had already signed up with the City of Pittsburg for their garbage removal, I have to continue with Cards, who, once again, have not picked up my garbage on time. I would give no stars if that rating was offered.

      TERRIBLE SERVICE!! They bought out our old trash company. Trash is not picked up weekly and cannot speak to anyone locally or at corporate to get refunded for remaining time.

      If I could give CARDS a negative star I would. When they first started picking up our trash after they bought out PTS, they did fine. Our trash was picked up weekly. Now it goes two to three weeks at a time before it is picked up. When I call customer service they assure me it will be picked up. They never mention giving a credit for the weeks they don't pick up. I paid PTS annually for trash service and should be paid up through November 2024, but will probably be switching services as theirs is consistently unreliable.

      Zero stars! The service is terrible and 2-3 days late always. They need to be sending out refunds to our neighborhood as they decided to not pick up this week. The cans have been out since Tuesday and now it’s Friday and no sign of them coming. Each week they get later and later. Sign up for any other service.

      I’ve paid for a job to be done and they won’t do it. They give an excuse that my place can’t be found because, we don’t have their trash cans out front. I was never offered one of their trash cans when they bought out C&R disposable. They have literally picked up my trash before without their trash cans out front. It’s like they pick up fine for two weeks then don’t pick up for three weeks. We’ve filled a complaint with them over the phone and emails still nothing from them. I’m at wits end with them. I want something done. I’m setup on auto payment so they get their money no matter what. It’s sad I have to sit and wait in hopes they pick my trash up every week. It should not be like this. People pay for a job or service and then they don’t receive what they paid for. Where’s other people’s rights. Also we’ve found out in the past if you complain too much they find it funny and just cancel service without telling the customer also. How can they do that when you’ve paid in advance. I would love some help on this from someone. Thank you

      Cards bought out Pederson Trash Services, whom we were with for almost 5 years. Cards then switched to quarterly billing, and we paid our bill for July-Aug-Sept. In the last 6 weeks, they have picked up 3 times! I am so tired of calling them every dang week to come do the job that I pre-paid for. This last debacle is what prompted me to write this review. The last time our trash was picked up was August 1. I called August 12 after they didn't pick up our trash on August 8. They said they would schedule 2 pickups for that week to make up for missing it. Never showed up. Then when they missed picking it up on August 15, I called again on August 19. Only to be told that they were going to put a work order in to "hopefully have my trash picked up on Friday August 23". I was flabbergasted, they were admitting that they were going to miss a 3rd week in a row (our trash day is Thursday!). The customer service reps, while nice, lie, lie, lie, and say whatever they have to to get you off the phone. True to form, they didn't pick up our trash. They said they "may" refund us for September, but we have to pay for July and August. They are stealing people's money and no one seems to care.

      Not a reliable service. Trash pickup is supposed to be weekly. Called to complain but got the runaround about when they would pickup and then not get it picked up at all
