I was rear-end and was injured. All of the medical bills were taken care of by the Insurance of the person that hit me. I was never contacted about this bill, as the insurance sent me copy of all the bills paid. The next thing I knew, a charge of $221 was on my Credit report by Access Credit Collections. I call them and told them that this bill was paid but they said that it was not. The insurance info was given to them but I haven't heard anymore from them, yet they continue to report it at the Credit Bureau. This is the only negative thing on my Credit Report. I still have the info of the Insurance that paid the bill, and if they won't accept what I gave them, them why don't they just contact the Insurance themselves. All I ask is that they remove this off my record.Business response

We are in receipt of Mr. ***** J ******’s complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Our response is as follows:
Radiology Associates provided Mr. ****** with services on 12/18/2018.
Radiology Associates billed Medicare and Champs VA for services provided Mr. ******. Both insurance claims were denied.
Radiology Associates mailed statements to Mr. ****** on 2/19/2019, 5/04/2019 and 6/11/2019.
On 9/8/2020, Access Credit Management, Inc. was informed by Mr. ****** that his medical debts related to the accident were included in a MVA claim. Mr. ****** also stated that this debt was paid by the MVA claim on 08/02/2019.
ACMI relayed this information to Radiology Associates. Radiology Associates contacted the insurance adjuster, **** *****, with Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance. At that time, Radiology Associates was told that Mr. ****** was paid directly on the claims.
Radiology Associates was unable to obtain verification from Mr. ***** as to whether or not the debt related to their services was listed as a claim. However, if Mr. ****** will provide us with a copy of info of the insurance that paid the bill and show that Radiology Associates was paid, we will certainly provide that to Radiology Associates to investigate and remedy this matter immediately.Customer response
