I am writing to share my experience regarding the delivery of my Peloton order, which was initially scheduled and confirmed for 20 September 2024, between 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. After rescheduling to 19 September 2024 for the same time window, I received an unexpected call on the morning of the 19th at 10:42 AM from your delivery personnel stating they were at my house. I informed them that the agreed time was in the afternoon, as I was at work during the morning hours. They acknowledged this and agreed to return at the scheduled time. I was home by 12:30 PM to ensure I could receive the delivery. However, by 6:00 PM, there was no sign of your team. Upon contacting your customer service, I was informed that the delivery team had come by at 12:40 PM and left because there was supposedly no safe place to leave the treadmill—an assertion that is incorrect as I was home at that time, and no attempt was made to ring the doorbell or contact me by phone. Moreover, it was required that the delivery team assemble the treadmill upon delivery, not merely leave it. The representative scheduled another delivery for 24 September. Considering the time I had already taken off work and the limited leave I have, this was quite inconvenient. Fortunately, after further discussions with both Peloton and your team, I was able to secure a delivery on 20 September. I would appreciate a review of this situation as the coordination and communication were less than satisfactory. Ensuring that delivery times are adhered to, that communication with customers is clear and timely, and that delivery services include the required assembly of equipment are areas that need improvement.J.B. Waiting on a delivery with them currently for a table. They called at 8:00 am and gave me a fifteen minute window. Unfortunately I was sleeping and my phone was in sleep mode, so I called them back at 8:30 and it was too late. They rescheduled week later. Because apparently I’m only in a Wednesday to Thursday delivery area. Also when I asked if I could grab it myself, the facility it’s at doesn’t do will calls is the answer I got. If something can only be delivered once a week then maybe give people more than 15 minutes to respond. Not everyone lives by their phone. I could’ve been in a work meeting or any other number of things. Many delivery companies call an hour or more ahead for this very reason with freight delivery. Anyways, just terrible customer service and operations management.J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.

1 starRidiculous. I had a delivery scheduled with them for a washing machine- after being without one for three weeks. They sent me tracking information so I stayed home waiting and saw ALL of the other orders get fulfillled. Mine was the last of the day. And FIVE MINUTES before they were supposed to arrive, I get an email that the delivery has to be postponed until next week. No explanation. So I called the company I ordered from who said it was a "truck problem" Really? At 3:00 on a beautiful day when all the other orders got fulfilled, mine doesn't. Then SEND ANOTHER TRUCK and get it delivered. You clearly only have one thing left on the truck and it's my washer. Conveniently, the phone # listed on Google is disconnected and the other number I found it busy- for the last 45 minutes. What in the world is going on? And do you plan to take all of laundry to the laundromat now? I contacted corporate and after 10 minutes, they said the delivery was "attempted" at 3:02. Really? I was standing in my kitchen cleaning out cabinets and I missed a large deliery truck in my driveway AND a knock AND a phone call? Oh wait. That never happened. They must have gotten the wrong house, and now it is MY PROBLEM. Add on to the- their phone number in Google is disconnected and the other number has been busy for an hour and a half solid. Hmmmmm. Unacceptable. Thanks for a laundry room full of laundry for five more days. Or do you plan on bringing it to the laudromat for me? Doubtful.Review fromWilliam P

4 starsWe just had a KitchenAid Microwave delivered and installed and the old one taken away. They were on time and Tracy who did the installation was terrific! He and his helpers were all friendly and attentive to our needs. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy things went after reading all the negative reviews.Review fromDenise C

The business practices of this company are highly unacceptable, and doing business with them should be avoided. In my case, I was not given the opportunity to select a shipper. I ordered furniture from a company who chose the shipper. JB Hunt has had my furniture for 2 weeks, unable to deliver it because they don't have a truck available and/or don't have a driver available. These are the excuses they've given. They confirmed as recently as yesterday that they would deliver the furniture today, but then just called to say they do not have a driver and need to reschedule. It seems to me if they do not have a driver or do not have a truck, then they are not actually a legitimate transportation business and it should be on them to find someone else to make the delivery. Instead of making good on their promise to deliver, they postpone delivery. They fail logistically. Other trucking companies would find a way to deliver the load timely, despite issues they may have internally. This company makes it the customer's problem.J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.

This company makes commitments it cannot fulfill. We were promised a pick-up date prior to the end of our lease, so we planned to move without the expensive/heavy piece of furniture. At the last minute, JB Hunt called to cancel on us and left us holding the bag for moving with the piece of furniture. They were unwilling to be at all flexible with their schedule despite the issue being on their end.J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.

I would give zero stars if I could. We ordered a new refrigerator directly from whirlpool and jb hunt gave us a four hour delivery window. We emptied the old fridge, bought coolers to keep everything from spoiling, and cleaned up. Then we get a call from dispatch informing us that the truck broke down so we won’t get the fridge. We asked if we could have another truck take over the delivery and the woman laughed and quickly said no. When will we get the item we paid thousands of dollars for? No clue. Do not use this company if you have a choice. We didn’t have a choice. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.

This company has now canceled two deliveries and has set up a third based upon sick calls and inability to make a delivery time that was promised. While the customer service team are pleasant enough and act apologetic, they do little to nothing to fix any actual problems outside of rescheduling. If you can avoid using this company, do so.J.B. This is the transport service that Lowes uses for delivery and installation of their appliances. They are an awful company with wildly inconsistent requirements for installation. We had multple instalers come to the house to deliver and install our washer and dryer but they have not installed anything. One installer said we had to change the outlet from. The old 50 Amp plug to a new 30 Amp plug, so we rescheduled delivery so I could change it. The next day, a totaly different installer said they couldn't install with copper pipes or with a plug at the ceiling height (where the plug always had been). So we had them complete the delivery and do the stacking install, but we had to schedule another installer. The third installer, when consulting with them over the phone, said they could not install with a dryer vent greater than 6 ft, and ours needed to be 10 based on limitations on where our utility sink and the dryer vent hole are located. Then, the fourth installer called my wife when they were on their way, called her "hun" on the phone, she confirmed that's what he said and asked him not to do that. He then proceeded to ask for a recounting of the full events of the previous installation issues over the phone when she didn't have time to go into it all, so she informed him that I would explain the situation when they arrived. They used this interaction as an excuse to refuse coming to do the install. At no time did anyone inform us ahead of time about any limitations or requirements for installation, and each installer gave WIDELY different restrictions for why they couldn't complete installation. It's no wonder why they have a 1.1 rating with BBB.J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.
